No. The movie objectively sexualizes preteen girls for the viewer. It doesn't matter what it's about. You're logic is akin to saying "this double anal scene isn't porn because it also addresses important issues like the 'pink socks' or gun control".
Depravity is what it is no matter what excuse the writer or director uses to sell it morally.
He may be smart, but 'what about the Christians?' and '11 yr old girls twerking and writhing for movie viewers is art' isn't "nuanced". It's bullshit whether JSG is clever or not. Being smart does not mean one is right.
If I'm wrong about this feel free to explain the "nuance" here. I won't hold my breath.
EDIT:
Apparently we're all to dumb to see the brilliant nuance in JSG's opinions that justify all of this predatory shit.
You are Just A Logging because CG is not an ultraconservative cultural revolution.
Boo fucking hoo.
Wehn I saw EVS alogs come off as bigger cows I mean takes like that.
Also, watch the damn video to see how much he defends it.
FROM CREATOR GO
Since our last CG News Update the number of active campaigns on CREATORGO increased from 111 to 117 listed campaigns, not including the failures listed below. Three campaigns on our watch list (Chasing Demons, Misty America #1, Xarde #1) were funded during the past week while Realmer X Omnibus 2021 failed to fund and joins the CG graveyard.
FROM INDIEGOGO
One of the better campaigns to launch and successfully fund over the past week was the first crowdfunded offering from former DC artist Tyler Kirkham called Final Boss Graphic Novel. While the current status of this book being Comicsgate is currently undetermined, the creator shares an amicable relationship with FROG, who revealed while promoting the book they were in contact and FROG helped him with his campaign page. The book features 58 pages of killer looking art for your standard $25 price point and has currently raised $20,415 from 172 backers.
Launching around the same time as Final Boss, was the sequel book to Micah Curtis' Englewood, which nobody asked for. You might remember Curtis' Englewood as the book with deviant art tier depictions of a masculine black street fighter, beating the shit out whitey. So far Micah's Englewood 2 has failed to capture the attention of the CG audience, raising a paltry $3,420 from a tiny 43 backers, representing 22% of his lofty $15,000 funding goal.
Ya Boi Zack recently caused more trouble for himself with a now deleted Expendables: Go To Hell update. Unfortunately for Zack the update was screenshot, archived and the subject of several tweets and videos that will be reported on in our Twitterverse and Youtube news segments. The phrasing of the message which caused much ire among both backers and critics was "It occurred to me that since this book has attracted many non-traditional comic buyers, and many people who have not bought crowdfunded comics before that I should probably give some extra information... Shipping dates are estimated due to the fact that the majority of Crowdfunded Campaigns end up being late. The goal is always to get the book to Backers as soon as possible, but books being late is the norm, not the exception... Refunds are available at any time, upon request." The update came with a quote from Shigeru Miyamoto on delayed games v rushed games, as if this quote somehow proved Zack's point.

Narwhal launched the sequel to his original book Earthbound called Earthbound Part 2. The book has raised $45,068 from 676 backers, an increase on his previous book Foreign Agent and the original Earthbound.
Billy Tucci announced on one of FROG's streams that a Shi Omnibus was launching soon, collecting the first 16 issues of the 80+ issue run. A signup page for fans of Shi and Tucci can be found here.
Backers of the late book The Lucent will have to wait a little longer after Michael Bancroft posted an update explaining the preview comics were damaged during transit, the damage is clearly visible in an unlisted video he posted in the update.

Robert Romano's announcement tweet mentioned above in our Twitterverse section was accompanied by a video explaining the situation in great detail titled "Ethan Van Sciver wins first round in #Comicsgate TM trial as Poulter's motion for judgement is denied."
Robert would also put out a video explaining in greater detail how Preston Poulter had technically infringed upon an active trademark, which could open him up to counter litigation. The video titled "Preston Poulter has INFRINGED upon Comicsgate TM since July 2020, Ethan Van Sciver THREATENS TO SUE" implies there could be a third lolsuit in future involving Poulter and FROG.
DA Talks and VIKKIVERSE continued their weekly "The Dumping Ground" stream this week commenting on the CGTM situation, Zack's recent Expendables update and the recent troll by Kyrie creator Matt C on Liam Gray.
The review team from F Off Well Read recently reviewed Narwhal's Earthbound and Foreign Agent books. The stream unexpectedly featured a guest appearance from Narwhal after the review at the [1:34:11] mark. During the interview a question from the chat asked Narwhal about the coloring choice on 499, which appeared to be Zack's decision.
FROG was joined by Nick Rekieta, Cecil and Anna as they efapped the appearance of all three Youtubers (plus Yellowflash) on the Anime Matsuri panel.
Yellowflash reports on the emasculation of the Bruce Banner Hulk, to his cousin She-Hulk.
Flash would continue with a second comics related video, talking about the current issues facing DC Comics YA novel "I'm Not Starfire."
Consumer watchdog, the people's champion, the Patriot Hut put out a video reporting on the recent Expendables update and it's deletion from Ya Boi Zack.
The Hut also put out a second video reporting on the deletion of Doug Tennapel's latest channel "Doug Tennapel Underground" as he attempts to evade Youtube's ban. The Hut however also has a prime suspect for reporting Doug's channels, which is none other than FROG.
Well that's our news update for this evening. The big stories of the week are Zack's continued spiral into some unrecognizable Bizarro Zack and the recent decision against Preston Poulter in his trademark dispute with FROG. Zack's recent fuckups have now caught the attention of Renfamous and her lackeys on twitter, which has emboldened them into sparring with other Comicsgate related personalities. Many of these activists had previously moved on to targeting Weeb Wars and Fandom Menace commentators, but have now returned home to Comicsgate. The most unfortunate news for Comicsgate was losing Canaan White to Preston Poulter, something which I'm sure we can all agree is the fault of Antonio Brice, who's crowdfunding campaigns were riddled with incompetence.

Canaan White could have worked on a series with EVS and made real money but instead allied himself with deviants like Antonio Brice and Preston Poulter. What a fucking Mongoloid...
I finally read 499. I absolutely cannot understand the coloring choice. I listened to Zack's explanation a few months back and it didn't help. I hate the colors. I think it is a completely failed execution and doesn't work the way Zack thinks it does.
Colors aside, I was pretty disappointed with the book overall. I've noted in the past that I actually like Narwhal's work quite a bit, but this is by far his weakest book in my opinion. Everything feels severely underdeveloped and I didn't get any sense of emotional impact where you're clearly supposed to. It feels like this book was meant to be 200 pages, ala Foreign Agent, but was cut down drastically. There's so much about this story and world that I know from hearing Zack and Narwhal talk about it, but remains unexplained in the book. The back of the book contains samples of scripts and conversations between Zack and Narwhal that reveal even more details that didn't actually make it into the book.
This reminds me of something that used to bother me a bit in Zack's videos. Prior to the release of Jawbreakers: God-King, Zack would often talk about how Devil Dog was gay, usually to prove a point about diversity in his books. The problem was that this is not even remotely hinted at in Jawbreakers: Lost Souls. So, the reader has no way of knowing this unless they watch Zack's videos. Same goes for the ethnicities of characters like Knife-Hand and Silkworm. Anyways, Devil Dog is finally revealed to be probably bisexual in God-King's backup story by Chuck Dixon (the best part of the book, for what it's worth). I guess my point is that Zack often has a character or story developed in his mind, but fails to get all of the details on the page to convey to his readers. You have to assume that the reader only knows what's in the book. Character details you disclose in your YouTube videos don't count as canon if they're not on the page.
Another point of concern is that Zack recently said he's rewriting a bunch of dialogue in Grand Bizarre to expand the lore and set up a bunch of future stories. I'm anticipating some horribly clunky dialogue and forced exposition. This sort of thing makes the Jawbreakers story at large seem poorly conceived and improperly planned. I think Zack should've spent some time making himself a roadmap for the Jawbreakers stories rather than taking the Disney Star Wars approach. I want to like your stuff, Zack. Please let Chuck Dixon be your script doctor on all future stories. Please take those comic criticism skills and reverse them to realize what elements need to be included for an engaging story.
Canaan could've been one of the biggest and most beloved artists in CG and gotten endless work from everyone. This is retardation. Here's hoping DAAAYYYYM DROPS proves a lucrative franchise in the future!!

That's odd. I too expressed disdain at another CG talking head being a social liberal.
I never expressed the desire that CG or other Gate movements be 'ultraconservative culture revolutions'. My frustration is socially liberal libertarians are
1. Numerically a small slice of the population and vastly overrepresented in the same way SJWs are.
2. After working with SJWs for more than a decade to create the current culture, they now want to complain SJWs are going too far. Which wouldn't matter except once entering a Gate movement they then seek to bend it to their preferences. The problem isn't X in every fucking comic or whatever, and if so, its not like their those awful deplorables who don't like the gay or woke or whatever!
3. If you do point out xir bullshit, they then act like their former SJW allies. As Smug documented above.
That's right. If you don't like gay people targeting children, you're the Taliban.
Not that some peoples overreaction isn't a bit much. But I draw the line at comparing it to fucking terrorists murdering people.

I get it. Libertarians are the bottom of the barrel no way where you look at it (and a lot of SJWs are closer to libertarian than socialist).
But this is something I see in some of CG/EVS a-loggers, that they are pissed because it is "traitor to the cause" instead of laughing at them for being retards.

Appreciate Smug. What do you think about the con stuff? Is there anyone you think will try to show up and troll?
True, but the money to fulfill was there.

Yes. I laugh at both. But the difference is the subject of the thread is a Gate movement.
Soooo, if someone wants to shit on JSG for being a pedo defending tard I won't stop em. I'd suggest spoilering after the first time. I usually do that if I have a moment of cow induced rage.
It was just bad timing. Caanan had a huge page rate with ALL CAPS, and he did some pin ups for FEARSOME and a ten page CYBERFROG story, but that dude needs to work! After he got paid for his Frog story, he asked for more work immediately, and frankly, I didn't have any to give him. And then he announced that he was moving on from ComicsGate, which pissed everyone off.
The time to launch FEARSOME came and went. I've got to fulfill REKT PLANET and start fulfilling REIGNBOW THE BRUTE before I launch another creative venture...when we talked about it a year and a half ago, I told him to finish BRAND and we'd do FEARSOME. Instead, he immediately launched BRAND 2 and then this other burger eating comic. WTF. Burying himself in low paying work.

If he wanted to get away from CG then why even bother working with Preston, the guy who is trying to take over the trademark? That’s a head scratcher. Nonetheless I really hope you find an artist of equal or better caliber to do Fearsome. Not asking you to drop any names but, do you have anyone in mind?

It's just so mind-bogglingly disingenuous that I can't help but wonder if he's just trolling us at this point. Nobody would have cared if the choir sung about coming for grown men or consenting adults.

The fuck is this attitude from everybody? The dude's got a talent and he's finding work where he can get it regardless of political slapfights. I say good on @PocketJacks for being willing to work with White despite his previous associations with @FROG and other wrongthinkers - I'm sure for many other "anti-CGers" he's tainted by association and they'd never be willing to give him a gig. Isn't this sort of recognition of talent for its own sake and willingness to put political differences and guilts by association aside in order to create a product for fans at least part of what this whole shitfest is about?

Yeah, him going cow about this is a bit uncharacteristic of him. But I am afraid there is an altar boy horror story behind it that I would rather overlook the entire situation because if I want horror stories I can always read the news.
As time goes on, better and better options will make themselves available to me. FEARSOME might be the first monthly or bi-monthly book for ALL CAPS, so I'd be mostly concerned with finding a good and fast artist.

The most unfortunate news for Comicsgate was losing Canaan White to Preston Poulter, something which I'm sure we can all agree is the fault of Antonio Brice, who's crowdfunding campaigns were riddled with incompetence.
I don't think Caanan switched teams, or declared allegiance or any of that. He already publicly announced he wasn't a part of CG sometime in March of this year if I Recall Correctly. There was a post about it here. Caanan is a guy who constantly needs work, and hasn't found his break yet. It wasn't long ago this guy was selling his originals on Miller's Friday Night Auctions for $100. Since the failure of Brand 2, and more recently Super Burger Man he's had a few interesting jobs.
He was on a book with Brett Booth, and Ryan Stegman for example. Two guys very comfy with the mainstream. Booth you may know from his twitter interactions with fans by redrawing stuff for people, as well as some excellent takes on Manga
(Brett Booth, Manga will Save Comics)
And Ryan Stegman just finished a mostly well received run on Venom with Donny Cates.
Caanan might have been rubbing elbows with these guys who are very comfortable in the mainstream while working on "DeathShroud" A successfully funded Action Packed anti-hero adventure for fans of Spawn, Venom, or The Darkness
Booth and Stegman contributed Variant covers to this project. The usual SJW concern tweets should have followed a known CG'er working on this with those two artists, but perhaps because Caanan White is Black, or unknown it seems to have escaped most of the usual suspects notice.
Caanan also did a cover "Iron Skies" by Kris Rue. You might remember him around the same time as Micah being welcome on Frog's streams and during both Shinobi Sasquatch, Monster MD's class of Comicsgate.
I don't think Caanan gives a shit who's paying him. He did that Iron Skies cover for $500 if I remember correctly. Antonio Brice (The dumbest man in comics) was "acting" as Caanan's Art rep during this time and made it happen during a promotional livestream he did for Kris Rue. A guy who was talking about selling his car to make sure his book got funded.

I never heard of this book before this post. We should find out if they are SJWs and Caancel Caanan for making money. (Sarcasm)
Caanan is one of the guys in the early days of comicsgate that brought a lot of credibility to CG. Incredible talents alongside the professionals who were joining. The future was so bright back then, even with Antonio Brice involved somehow. I don't know if there's someone in CG who will give Caanan the break he needs, but until then Im not going to give him any grief for the jobs he takes. It's not been easy for him obviously and sometimes good artists just don't get the success they're capable of.
