Yeah he should have just come up with some crazy joke book, made a bunch of promises, collected a bunch of money and then not fulfilled anything all while making numerus excuses for why he couldnt fulfil. Oh and latch on to an E-Thot and creepily lust after said E-Thot on multiple hours long youtube streams and fly hundreds of miles to see her IRL at cons and on vacations instead of fulfilling said book. Or he could have over the course of months, turned the tables and started shitting on the fans of CG the same way the mainstream creators were doing. Things that were part of the reason CG supposedly came into being in the first place. Or he should have just befriended Vito, had him on his show and even talked about making a comic with him.
On a serious note, what Post did was shady as shit, but he didnt steal the IPs, he payed the creators for it. He misrepresented his role in his campaigns and that was messed up, but he did at least fulfil those campaigns. The campaigns in question looked like shit and the market should have taken care of it from the start. His first campaign only raised about $10,000, the second was about $34,000 and last only about $14,000. He only did better on his second campaign because Smiller talked shit about it on a stream. Then Frog used Smiller talking shit about it to get a bump in funding from the CG
idiots faithful, resulting in Post making more money and Frog being able to "dunk" on Smiller(it is just one of the numerus examples of how retarded a lot of the CG faithful are).
Im not saying Post should be welcomed back with open arms and that he didnt do anything wrong. Im saying that in hindsight, I think Post might have been treated a touch too harshly when compared to other things that happened later. Things like Cecil and Cashgrab, Zack who got multiple chances from the CG faithful even after he kept shitting on them(until he shit on Frog, then he was cooked) or
@TheCosmicWarrior trying to court Vito. I do agree that Post should manage campaigns, he never seemed shy about putting in the work when it came to promoting his campaigns.
