Richard C Meyer is a common panhandler, just like the rest of CG. They’re ALlL too retarded or corrupt to run an actual business, so they bum money from suckers to fund their shitty lives.

Zack gets to live on couches and eat shit, FROG gets to go to gay concerts, gamble, and eat pies (for now), and Malin apparently gets to eat everything in sight.

They’re ALL falling to shit, and on every level, their numbers are falling. They’ll be fucked, soon enough. Especially Ethan. Potato kids ain’t cheap once they become potato adults. And wives with Parkinson’s ain’t cheap either. AND being a IGG beggar might be lucrative while it lasts but it doesn’t offer a family health plan. He’ll die of a heart attack or a stroke when reality rips his fat ass off. COMING SOON!!!!

Somewhat related. But with all this talk about artists not getting paid. That seemed to be a sticking point with Keown and Mandy. Did EVS go after her like he was with Flash?
No, and if we ever got access to Frog and Hot Mom’s DM exchanges, we might know why.

He got really angry that the furiosa movie bombed at the box office
Zack blames this on youtube critics like drinker because he thinks they have a huge control over their viewers and can influence and significantly alter the popularity of a movie

That's what he says but it's obvious from how they were involved previously and the timeline of events that they had a falling out and he has some sort of personal vendetta against the Drinker because of it.

Nobody really knows what that is but people have claimed that drinker sent his book out separately and didn't wait for Zach stuff to get finished because it was taking to long. Of course this would have made Zack look bad. I haven't seen proof that that is true but that is what I've read in Youtube comments.

"no, silly party clowns we are not the same. when you talk about media for children it's because you're grifting weirdos. where as when i do it it is because i am trying to save an art form. i am very smart."

He said in a video that the book is ready and the difference in shipping them together versus separate isn't enough to matter. So he sent out the Drinker copy. I do not believe Drinker was handling fulfillment or anything.

However. In retrospect. Is it possible that Drinker forced his hand and said to get it out? Don't know. But is a possibility.

It's kind of crazy though that he said the Rambo book would go out earlier this year and the year is almost over now.

One thing I forgot to mention in my Zack video breakdown is that among all the bizarro things he threw out there, he claimed that calling people "birthday party clowns" and "shitheads" was very mild and something that could easily be walked back. Easily walked back? Make of that odd statement what you will. (Why would you call somebody something and then talk about being able to walk it back?)

I don't think calling somebody a clown repeatedly is something "you can easily walk back," Zack, but, hey, you're the genius with the YouTube channel that is losing thousands of subscribers, so good luck with that plan.

He also called them "closet cases" in some of his posts. Now, I realize that the world has changed (gotten worse) since I was a child, but in the old days that was the kind of thing you said to provoke someone into throwing the first punch:

I find it hilarious whenever the fairies who watch livestreams about SNOW WHITE get upset at me because I say it's ridiculous that middle-aged men care about movies for 6-year-old girls. They always think they are dunking on me when they say it's the same as middle-aged me complaining about comics. Comics haven't been made for kids since I was a kid. The entire American comic book industry relies on middle-aged men with disposable income buying variant covers and $150 compendiums. Nice try, buddy. Go give a $20 SuperChat to a man now. That's totally straight 😂

If he's pulling his punches at all, I suspect it's to avoid violating Youtube's Terms of Service, not so he can "walk it back."

I'm sure that'll go well lol.

"hey drinker, sorry about calling you a grifting shithead clown who no one should listen to for the better part of a year, you know how it goes. anyway you wanna make another comic together? 👉👈

please my last campaign was just me ripping pages out of marvel books and randomly stapling them together. I'm begging you, it barely got funded! i can't even afford my breakfast burritos anymore, I'll have to go back to being a porn extra!"

this lying little bitch pretending half the comics he trashed back in the day weren't aimed at young girls. that's the main reason they sucked so much and pushed their young heroines.

America Chavez, Kate Bishop, kamala Kahn, RiRi Williams were all aimed squarely at the teen/pre-teen girl market (as misguided as it was) and he freely admitted it at the time.

hell, he gave fucking squirrel girl to his daughter to read after he reviewed it and brought up every review he did of it after about how it didn't resonate with it's intended audience (little girls) because she hated it also. what a disingenuous faggot this guy is.

maybe it's just me, but i think the guy who is on video watching other men have sex in fucking San Francisco really shouldn't be the one throwing stones trying to call people fucking queers.

Ya Boi is one step away from going full Spoony and threatening to kill people on Twitter. In Spoons case, he was a lazy faggot who dreamed of being a "legit" star but didn't do jack shit to promote himself and expected Hollywood to bust down his door. When it dawned on him that he was middle aged now and "internet reviewer" was all he would ever be he lost his shit and threw his gay career away in favor of laziness and self-pity and irrational hatred. Now he mooches off his homosexual cop brother and might or might not work at a Taco Bell.

I must have missed the mass swarms of 6 year old girls paying for their own movie tickets multiple times to the same movies, as well as paying for their own physical medium copies. Last I checked, most of the comics that Zack expressly complained about, the gay Superman, all of that stuff isn't selling $150 compendiums. Both markets rely on adults to purchase and support it for themselves or for the children they care for.
But no you're right Zack, you're very much different from them. Comics are not for children, but also make a lot of decisions for children, whereas Hollywood is definitely not relying on adults, they are a children industry. While we both know that they don't do their reviews for parents to 'avoid the bad media' they kind of do it by proxy. They have their children they live with (Another thing Zack can't say for himself) so in a way their 'caring' for movies aimed at 6 year old girls could be of some benefit for their viewers. Of course, it's not. They mostly do it to make content out of it (again, something Zack cannot fathom and thus his autistic deduction is 'tHeY cArE aBoUt ThIs!' ). But whatever Zack, you do you girl, go army!

However. In retrospect. Is it possible that Drinker forced his hand and said to get it out? Don't know. But is a possibility.
I’ve been wondering if that was the case. People were saying that Drinker was getting called out for Zack’s failing, so maybe he pushed Zack to hurry up and Zack is still pissy about it.

His late books, and being reminded he’s at fault for them, REALLY gets under his skin.

Fairytales were filled with rape and murder when they were told to people including children back in the day but most folks today would recognise those as inappropriate.
While we shouldn't be explicit about those acts, children's entertainment that veered away from unpleasant consequences is why modern children's entertainment is Skibibi Toilet and Fortnite. Then they grow up and are surprised when bad things happen to them.

And Drinker had a milquetoast opinion on that movie as it is. Furiosa has a ton of problems besides girl-boss marketing like being massively overbudget, 9 years too late, and a hubristic belief that Furiosa was the best action heroine ever to justify that budget when the previous movie didn't on an objective level. It's just so bizarre that Miller and his producers would come to the conclusion to make this movie when it was so lacking on the business end of it.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of it is because he expected Drinker to advertise the comic more than he did. Similar with EVS disliking Eric July not promoting CG much (if at all). Maybe Drinker did and I missed it. But I don't recall him really mentioning at all.

There is also the possibility he dislikes people that have different opinions than him on movies.

The Drinker did advertise the Rambo book... sporadically and briefly... "BTW, I wrote a Rambo backstory for a comic you may or may not want to buy at this link in the description" sort of thing.

He said in a video that the book is ready and the difference in shipping them together versus separate isn't enough to matter. So he sent out the Drinker copy. I do not believe Drinker was handling fulfillment or anything.

It's kind of crazy though that he said the Rambo book would go out earlier this year and the year is almost over now.

Zack said several times this past December that he would stop making new videos for 2024 until his complete backlog of orders was cleared, limiting himself to releasing vids on downtime, i.e., when he did his part and waited for the artist/collaborator/printer to respond, but as long as there was something he could do to further his crowfunds fulfillment he would go radio silence. This lasted about two weeks, when the now legendary Meyer impatience/lack of self control got the better of him and started making videos again saying that he was waiting for a printer to answer or something like that and apparently, 2/3 of a year later the answer's yet to come by. Oh and by his own admission he's still five titles behind on fulfillment, not counting the additional manure he launched in 2024.

One thing I forgot to mention in my Zack video breakdown is that among all the bizarro things he threw out there, he claimed that calling people "birthday party clowns" and "shitheads" was very mild and something that could easily be walked back. By easy to walk back could YBZ mean that he didn't name names when talking about shithead party clowns?

Wonder what's Meyer's endgame supposed to be. Is he trying to purge and consolidate his audience into a more loyal core? Fine, but why? Because he's also culling dozens or even hundreds of potential backers that could push his campaigns into upper five or lower six figures. I cannot believe the speculation that he's possibly expecting to fall into Marvels' good graces and be hired as writer for the company.
Does he aim to become an artiste like Harvey Pekar but working for a cult following for two or three campaigns a year that together earn him $70-90k perhaps?
Has he saved & invested enough of his earnings to retire already?
I can also think that he wants to push away his customer base to put an end to his comics career in a drama troll fashion á la Andy Kaufmann ("lol, they really bought it")
Or he's simply an autistic retard who can't help fucking up anything good that comes his way because it's not exactly as he envisioned it?

Incidentally, does anyone have access to the like/dislike ratio of his latest videos, especially the ones where he's talking about the "Party Clowns". I'd like to know how his audience receives them.

edited for crappy grammar

Maybe but that is beside the point. The point is that what is meant for kids and what a kid is has changed over time.

I think that both are true. The Drinker might had not been aware that you are to advertise on every video to make the book a success and Zack is too late for most peoples patience, especially since he was was with a collaborator with his own reputation to protect.

Comicsgate guys have had years to do what Eric July has already done, set up their own portal for selling books on demand, but none of them have managed yet.

Didn't Edwin Boyette and some other guy try to make a site to catalogue all the cg projects and EVS sabotaged it by railing against it all day and night like he's doing now to Eric July? Iirc he made some dumb excuse but it all boiled down to allowing people to check the projects they'd be interested in and he doesn't want it taking the spotlight from him (cause they wouldn't be going to his channel)

Update

Is this nigga ever satisfied, first he says birthday clowns how they are outrage merchants who want to destory hollywood, then he complains about they don't watch the show, then he complains they watch the show but still not asskissing the show, and now he's complaining why they have panel discussions of the show.
