As usual, Richard is defending the same kind of gay garbage he used to claim he hated when it was in comic books.
He's not even defending shit, just lashing out.

I guess the homoerotica in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is making Ya Tard all warm and fuzzy inside because he is reminded of beautiful moments in the army showers.

You're against Hispanic voices in science fiction and comic books, stalker.
No, child, I do not lust after Lucario's blue furry butt on Twitter, and no, child, this is a great month for Comicsgate. Flying Sparks wasn't generic garbage, stalker, and that is why you are already dead. Anime is Christian. Wait for the knock.

The meeting was also the source of an eventual conspiracy theory where Tim Lim played Burglar Bill at Mitch's house and somehow stole nude photos of Mitch's wife which then (somehow) shared with everyone in comicsgate. By legend, there was some weird fap folder of internet comics women that was circulating among comicsgate at the time. The source of it was unlikely to have been Tim Lim, but it seems that someone let lewds of Mitch's wife go out among (by rumor) people like TUG. My theory has always been that the distributor of the photos was probably Mitch himself.
That is appalling.

I don't suppose these photo's ever made their way to this thread?

No. They didn't. There isn't any confirmation that they ever existed. But Ethan continuing to talk about it for a few years after 2018 and continuing to blame Tim Lim for it all that time later points to the possibility that there might have been something somewhere.

It was the marines actually. In his book on his time in the marines, he talks about his observations of the state of his fellow marines underwear when he first joined up. Its been a while since I read it, but I believe he starts to realize at that point from looking at the underwear that being a marine rifleman isn't like the Star Wars movies and the GI Joe cartoons told him it would be. That maybe he made a mistake when that high marine officer called him and pleaded with him based on his test scores to take a different job in the marines than rifleman....and richard turned him down.

Richard's book is only interesting in that it really showcases just how dumb he is. He got into a fight over some girl that cost him his job and got him into serious legal trouble. Trouble apparently so serious that he had to join the military. And that he was so criminally hot that no branch of the military would touch him other than the "we will take anyone at all" marines.

Richard was later in the army after the marines. But there is alot less material on that available.

IDK why, but the Flying Sparks cover looks like it was made by the guy who created Foreskin Man

So the people who say that Eric July or Lim/Pellegrino only have only gotten where they are because of secret investor cash, there have been comic publishers that had at least some investor cash to toss around and they fell apart for various reasons. Being flush with money does not ensure success.

Its also on the part of Ethan Van Sciver incredibly hypocritical considering that the secret investor behind EVS in the early days of comicsgate was Dynamite Comics and its CEO Nick Barrucci. Dynamite printed and fulfilled the first comicsgate issue of Cyberfrog. In addition, Mitch Breitweiser in comicsgate had his own secret investors in Arkansas and his own secret publishing deal with Walmart.

Promises of work for Dynamite was one of the ways that Ethan bought support during the early days of comicsgate. The deal with Dynamite only finally collapsed when his own followers started fighting among themselves over who was getting what work from Dynamite. At one point, even untalented useless Cecil was being given variant cover work to do for Dynamite.

Those people are retarded. Call July a based black man grifter if you want, but that's just admitting that he earned his market. His was an honest hustle, and was Iconic and their service of the weebu market. You can subpoena Iconic's customer records to put on a watch list if you want (you would get me too, I gave KA a shot I think), but "seed money" isn't really an argument. How do you think almost every single company starts, bootstraps and elbow grease?

There are others who earned access their market, such as by loudly picking fights with industry pros who would, in a more naive time, on a more Maoist Twitter, fire back and hand them a megaphone. But you don't hear much about them many more. Call me crazy but I think the difference might be the production and fulfillment phases of their businesses.

For different reasons, I think I share Richard's feelings on the spergs who keep trying to have a discussion with him. Unsub and be free. You're not supporting Richard by keeping him from rock bottom.

Pretty much, what do they hope to accomplish anyway? You can't reason with someone who doesn't care and resents you. "Please read my carefully worded 3 thousand page youtube comment on how I think you are being unreasonable."

The only positive statement I'll make about Flying Sparks is that a one-off crossover he had with another creator that helped alert me to another title, Punchline, from Bill Williams and mostly artist Matthew Weldon, no relation to the DC title, that had some interesting wrinkles and depictions of the "superhero must mentor and pass on their powers to a successor" sort of storyline; it's an Antarctic title and there've been crossovers with Iconic and Antarctic characters.

He also wants to make a Superman comic (when he goes into public domain) and make Critical Drinker the villain
It would be glorious if he actually did it, I would certainly buy pirate and read that dumpster fire. Unfortunately, he's to lazy and gay to work (LOL, he couldn't be assed to actually draw now, at best he'd generate it using Gay-I, but he's gotten too lazy even for that) on it.

There are left wing video essayists with bigger audiences that do a better job roasting Ben Shapiro. Both right wingers and leftists mock and hate him. Ben Shapiro is the stereotypical jewish nerd nobody likes. I refuse to call him a conservative, calling Ben Shapiro a conservative is an insult to actual conservatives as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway Moron Meyer lashes out at another commentator.
