How does one have the balls to stream for 10h and talk about absolutely nothing, while also not drawing a book that should have come out in October of 2019.... i actually remember, a year and a half ago, saying how the book is probably gonna come out in December of 2021, but looks like i was wrong. Imagine giving money to a guy that cant draw 48 pages in 3 years. I am sure some marvel and dc pros are assholes, but i cant imagine anyone being this lazy. Pathetic.

Speaking for myself (as someone who has paid for a fair amount of these - most of which have eventually fulfilled), at least half of the thrill to buying these is a big "fuck you" to DC and Marvel. I do enjoy FROG's frog book quite a bit and look forward to the next instalment. Does DC or Marvel ultimately give a fuck? Who knows. But the thought of the current crop of "creatives" at DC & Marvel having five roommates and eating Ramen noodles while FROG lives in a very nice house keeps me warm at night.

Cap'n Cummings was the one who brought ComicsGate to my attention, back in the day, but at this point I'd forgotten I was even subscribed to this channel. (His third? Fourth? More?) Feels like a relic from a different age, TBH. Anyhoo, I guess he and Zach are no longer pinky swear buddies. And it took him five minutes to convey this.

Richard dumped Cap'n Crazy pants pretty fast. He wanted to be Switzerland and for someone like Cummings I'm sure that was irritating.

Is he wrong here though? We've all said the same thing he's saying here. Richard 2021 is everything Richard 2017 denounced in video after shaky, poorly made video.

Speaking of blasts from the past. Perch Comics is still a thing. He put out this unbearable video within the last week the may be the worst thing of his I ever listened to

Think Dickie Meyers at his worst. Now add Perch's usual degree of waffling bullshit and you can only imagine how bad this one was.

D&V held a stream last night. I don't know, Aside from Witten/Nadine there isn't anything interesting about CG at this point beyond generic E-thots selling the comic book version of bath water and this stream was a pretty good affirmation of it.

At this point, there should be a compilation video of 2021 Meyers contradicting his 2017/2018 self.

But more power to you because there are people (a surprising number if I'm honest) who do appreciate over detailed accounting breakdowns and boring video transcription services. Have at it. It provides a real service to those who care whether THE COLLOSSALS made 10 percent more than it was trending to make in it's 3rd month. I generally skim or skip that stuff personally.
It is not a matter of "taste" to point out that this a thread for discussing things going on within and around Comicsgate. Surprisingly (to some apparently) it seems readers don't go into the Comicsgate thread for a tedious argument about crypto concerning people not involved with Comicsgate or their activities that are not germane to the topic of the thread. It comes across as one of those MidnightGift vs Testiefy streams you mentioned, but somehow even less relevant and without the benefit of truncation. But on the bright side there already is a Cryptocurrency Lolcows thread. Tellingly, the thread died due to a lack of sustained interest in discussing crypto, but I'm sure the addition of Doug and Smiller and their latest paypiggy milking scheme would be a welcome addition, as befits your personal interests. By all means have at it.

2021/10/04 - COMICARTISTPRO SECRETS - FIGHTING with SJWs!! CyberFrog Bloodhoney Box CLOSEOUT!

(Sketch superchat in the thumbnail: a warning of things to come)

Yesterday, only three days after hosting a closeout stream for Jon Malin's Godlike campaign, Frog had a ten hour closeout telethon for both his Cyberfrog: Bloodhoney Box and Aaron Lopresti's Wraith of God crowdfunds. While mostly shilling as expected, there were a few developments of note that happened.

As mentioned by others, I was brought up for reminding Frog about his almost-collaboration with noted comics libtard Greg Rucka on Amazon Attacks 12 years ago, which set off Well Read User on these fine farms for some reason.

Going after his co-hosts for being "anti-CG", going after this thread for being "pro-CG" and some sort of sellout Comicsgate marketing machine. Weird.

Nasser's upcoming Creepsters toy was shown off by a Frog that seemed genuinely impressed by the production value on what was undoubtedly a shoestring budget.

In the face of declining sales for mainstream comics and no Substack deals coming their way, a new new revolution in comics has been launched with the announcement of "Artists Elite Comics". A murderer's row of veteran comic artists like Frog's mormon replacement on Green Lantern and Final Boss creator Tyler Kirkham, 30 Days of Night and Fell co-creator with Warren Ellis and thus co-cancelled Ben Templesmith, as well as frequent CG overture recipient Brett Booth, along with several others have rallied together under a crudely made logo, some public domain music accompanied by Sun Tzu quotes, and even a few fencesitter Perch Comics videos were retweeted by Templesmith for some edge. And so, these brave cartoon artists have declared themselves the heirs to the great Image Comics rebellion of 1992, the cause of the comic book artist proletariat. The vague foundations of an online store has been registered at https://artistselitecomics.com/, and a couple thousand twitter subscribers have been bought for social media.

Jon Malin for one registered his thoughts by offering this replacement logo.
Yet this declaration did not sit well with the rest of Frog's panel. After all, wasn't Comicsgate supposed to be said Image Comics revolution reloaded? Where the comic artists that do the bulk of the actual work creating comics come together as a band of brothers and free themselves from under the thumb of the publishers, editors and writers? Observing Comicsgate has taught these professionals that they need to band together in an internet gang and start promoting themselves, but this all seems superfluous. If they wanted these goals, why did these eleven professional comic artists not just grab an oar and declare themselves Comicsgate? Why? Why?

As mentioned before, this livestream shillathon was meant not just to sell Frog's campaign but a closeout for Aaron Lopresti's campaign as well. Sketch Therapy has learned somehow about Lopresti being a former regular of Mike's show and has naturally concluded the mild mannered Christian Wraith of God creator to be a rico act smiller infiltrator. Aaron's equally folksy wife Shelley, presumably not knowing better, tried to talk Sketch down using reason and empathy. Sketch was shortly thereafter tempbannedt by jannies due to a flood of (now regrettably erased) profanity directed at Aaron's wife.

This setback in the face of traitor infiltration, far from deterring Sketch Therapy, merely motivated him to flood the stream with hundreds of dollars of superchats for the next several hours about how he will not be silenced. Voices of reason like Cecil urged for sanity by suggesting Sketch be brought on to explain his side of the argument. I myself may have suggested Sketch be given a wrench again so that the jannies couldn't time him out.

1633384860004.png 1633385027611.png

Tragically (for some), the Bloodhoney Box/Wraith of God slowly but inexorably began to change course as the audience showed themselves to be vastly more interested in fighting over Sketch then listening to whatever Frog and the panel were talking about.

In short, we may never know why luminaries like Tyler Kirkham and Ben Templesmith elected to build some sort of makeshift raft out of floating furniture, driftwood and probably turds and shit bobbing around in the ocean rather than climb into the CG lifeboat.

This thread spent weeks talking about Fandom Menace faggotry almost completely displaced from CG. People go on anime/manga tangents constantly or chatter on about Ethan Ralph or dime store voice actor Cpt Kirk.

Doug and Smiller's crypto adventures are much more on topic to CG, but I wouldn't whine about any of it not being the specific topic that I want discussed in the thread because that would be childish and autistic.

Tastes vary I guess.

Marvel and DC don't care - it's has zero impact. Three years ago before they had a sense of scale of CG it might have - now they know they can disregard the obsessives in CG with zero risk of downsides - it's nerds sperging into the void.

The only one getting owned by plunking $75 on a 48 page comic is the buyer.

Yeah, pretty sure DC & Marvel don't care. That's why people like me have left them in droves. And that $75 is a drop in the bucket compared to what I spent on the Big Two back in the day. I can afford it.

Why would anyone think that you were talking about Malin if you didn't say so.
Because I clearly wasn't talking about Doug when I started mentioning people having side grifts that potentially interfere with their ability to get books out on time. Duh.

Also, somebody brought up Malin's NFTs in the course of the same discussion. Malin HAS been late with books.

This thread spent weeks talking about Fandom Menace faggotry almost completely displaced from CG.
Translation: Some people had the audacity to take a break from talking about @FROG 24/7, and wanted to laugh at a fat SJW bitch who is objectively more of a cow than Ethan ever has been (and perhaps ever could be). And by the POWER OF THE CHARITABLE SALAD DRESSING, that MUST not stand!

Don't worry though, fam, I gotchu. Here's a friendly reminder that there seems to be a general consensus that TFM isn't completely relevant to this thread, and the same people that talked about that subject (correctly) support them having their own thread (currently marinating in PG). I imagine it was discussed here because the CG thread really IS the closest active thread on KF to talk about TFM. There's some cross-pollination of members and subjects, and whatnot.

I will further be a chad and tell you that you are free to try and have Ethan halal'd, and submit a thread concerning him (exclusively, no less!) to PG. Note that I can tell you right now that I do not think this will work. Regardless of how much you hate his guts.

I still love you though. Your Ethan a-logging is more adorable and less cringe than that of the Roiloups. You actually make a valid and funny point from time-to-time.

One thing's for sure, Malin never fails to distinguish himself as a tryhard moron. Sure Jon, you human ashtray, show us all your gun. Anyone who's unfamiliar with guns will be freaked out and anyone familiar with guns will think you're an idiot for putting that gigantic tube on a shitty 5.56
Yeah, I'm in the latter group. His AR build is pretty shitty.

Regardless, if I were @FROG, I'd tell Jon to cool it with that shit. Susan gives exactly zero fucks. I don't think you're gonna be able to spin such a TOS violation takedown as an attack against Comicsgate. Jon's gun collection has exactly nothing to do with CG, and the prohibition on firearms handling on livestreams appears to be a blanket rule. Jon is (perhaps inadvertently) putting your channel at risk with such stunts.

Kids, I'm sure daddy Froggy loves you both equal. Now go to your spots behind the Pizza joint and assume the position.

Don't worry. We can laugh at Ethan, with Ethan, and at other people. We're Kiwi Farms and have Keks for dayz.

It's called the hangers on thread and it is thankfully dead and buried. I know your a migrant peasant from filthy Weeb Wars land but you simply must learn that everything in Comicsgate is about Ethan as Comicsgate is a character vehicle for him at this point.

I was embarrassed for him.

Jon clearly has problems, between this and the only fans esque content he will sometimes throw out.

Hopefully this will be the thing that skyrockets @NasserRabadi13 out of the C-LIST where he has been stuck at for so long and solidify his seat at the table. I told him months ago when he felt like giving up to press on.... he has done more stuff at his age and has more things to show for his effort then people twice his age.
This business is a lot like fishing, how many times do you cast in the water before you land your BIG one?
Trixie, Stardust, and Secret Comics Presents were all keepers but this one (hopefully) will be the one to mount... and SOY RAGE is just waiting to mount Nasser come this OCTOBER 15th.

So, I must learn that Comicsgate is shit?

But I already know that.

There is no point in creating a new thread for Ethan because this has been Ethan's thread for a couple of years now.
Unfortunately.

Mainstream comics have a bit of a point: A little diversity never hurt anyone. It's just that I'd be looking towards a different type of diversity for this thread.

To diversify we can always talk books! I am making a point to review all the comicsgate books I enjoy, most recently got Dan Fraga's The Grave! Talking books and creating buzz about the fun great industry alternative is really the best thing we can all do to help ComicsGate grow. Let's help change the culture. I made a separate channel specifically for reviews so enjoy and subscribe!

Why the FUCK would most people here want that? Did you not pay attention to the discussion that just happened? Hell, did you EVER pay attention to what most people on this thread have said since its very inception?

Fuck off and go efap to some Liam video with Testecry, Jon. Or at least finally answer why you hate Vikki so much. #JONMUSTANSWER.

Let's help change the culture.
This. This right here is why people laugh at Comicsgate. You personify the cringe more than Ethan ever could.

How does reviewing an 8 year old webcomic slapped into a book by IDW grow ComicsGate?

You know what would grow CG? If Fraga's book wasn't 9 months late.

I'm not sure that Ethan is doing himself any favours with a cap like this.

Whilst he may not be putting this sort of stuff in his books, I can imagine his many enemies would be wanting to use this pic against him.

But would it even matter? I mean, I'd think Sketch's hours long sperg out of Ethan's latest professional pick ups would be a greater threat than signaling his distaste for Biden.
