I'm remembering that YF's complaint was that he saw the rates EVS gave to his friends compared to the one he got and was offended. I'm not gonna say who was right in that scenario, but it's an effective way to see where you stand with someone when they have a "Friend Rate" and "Not Friend Rate". This was also around the time EVS was leaning hard into the Dax/Eric drama and YF wanted no part of it.

Takes like this is why I have mad respect. To be fair to Comicsgate it has made money on projects, Gamergate never did,I admit to falling for the lie that these guys spun.

Consider the biggest egg on my face. As I have studied more on Gamergate via the various Jimlogging Youtube channels, I've pieced together that honestly: Comicsgate is a bargain bin version of Gamergate.
Now that my job has me co-existing with other gamers and learning the ground level of all of this, it's so obvious that the issues that founded CG were completely off target. Just like Gamergate, the issues fell to personality conflicts, not the fucking Marxism and Current Year Brain Rot.
I'm not ashamed to say that I've watched a few sunsets wondering if any of this was worth it; or if it was all a distraction to keep me from sleeping in the Nether.
God only knows what's next. It's an election year and 9/10 things that only happen in a single lifetime have happened in 8 months (so far). It's anyone's guess what'll go down in the smoldering crater of CG. Even Ethan's trying to escape it by pleading with Dick Masterson to bring him in as 3rd man. I'm still betting Zack'll come out as gay this year though. Trump said 2024 would be a year all truths would be revealed.

He makes more money with less effort by focusing on his drama streams, than if he was to put on actual work. As long as he says something negative about other people he used to associate with then it's good business for him. The problem is that at some point you run out of negative things to say and you just have to scrape the bottom of the barrel which makes you look, well makes you look like FROG.
So, my guess is he'll use AI as "a reference" and then trace over it and correct the most egregious errors while he does that. Which is a shame, because if a talented artist drew it, it might at least have a few pages worth looking at.

But he has to. It's what generates attention. Remember: you're only as good as the last work you publish. This means that if he releases a new comic and it's not well recieved then he's done. So instead of doing that he can just delay it for as long as he can while making drama streams and keep associating himself with controversial people. This provides him a steady revenew to have a nice life and pay pigs to sign up to his backer page.
