also, when Richard says you can make a profit off reselling his books on eBay what he really means is you can lose half your money on them or if you're really lucky almost (but not quite) break even.

crossed out numbers mean they sold for less than the asking price by the way.

The whole "catering the reseller market shit" was one of the early signs that Comicsgate was absolutely lost about why the American comic industry was actually sick. It wasn't just because of SJWs. They weren't even the main issue, really. The true causes of the industry's decline were the same ones plaguing it for decades: variant covers and "debut issues" flooding shelves while trying to reel in collectors and speculation reseller whales, stupid crossover events constantly fucking with continuity because of editorial retardation, lack of (actual) diversity of genres that cater to demographics outside of boomers who like capeshit, and the comics themselves being isolated to only comic shops which naturally repel the normies who used to make up the majority of comic sales before the medium mostly became a hobby for "divorced middle-aged dentists" as Meyer likes to say.

Neither Meyer, EVS, or anyone else that was part of Comicsgate seemed able to realize this, save for maybe Tim Lim and the Iconic crew. Solely or primarily blaming SJWs was always misguided. They undoubtedly made things worse, but the industry was already in critical condition before they got there. It's like blaming the Goths for the fall of Rome or the Young Turks for the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Shit was already broken before those niggas showed up.

Personally, I do not blame everything ruining the industry on the SJWs (though I do blame them for most things that ruin it right now). What I mean is this: The SJWs and their supporters are the ones responsible for making the industry worse and for stopping things from ever getting better.

To be fair to Meyer, I do remember in a lot of his videos how he'd point out the comic he's reviewing is a new #1 for a series that'll end in a few issues and that they start so many mini series to drive up interest.

So Meyer knows that they thought the Penguin show was good so far, but he needs to cry about it because they aren't covering it enough for him? First it's "They don't watch the shows." Now it's " Ok, they watch the shows, but they don't talk about the shows enough for my liking" Keep moving that goalpost buddy.

There's nothing stopping Meyer from talking about these shows if he cares so much. How is their bitching any worse than Meyer bitching about their bitching? He's adding just as much as a lack of value as he claims they are. If anything, Meyer's worse because at least it's pretty clear they're chasing the youtube algorithm, so even if you don't agree with the method, you have to admit they're giving the audience what they want. Meyer is just throwing stones from his glass house while smugly claiming his superiority

How did someone like Zach even get access to IPs like Rambo and the Expendables? Is Stallone retarded?
Chuck Dixon is actually on good terms with Stallone, but he backed the wrong horse because Meyer happened to be one of the biggest guys around after his cancellation. I know the Eric glazing gets a little much here, but I'm betting Chuck kinda regrets Eric came onto the scene after he wasted those deals on Meyer. Can't say the books would be amazing but Eric would have sold the fuck out of them and got them out on time.

He reviewed the whole first season of the sequel series to Sex and the City, And Just Like That, on his Splatto channel. I literally cannot concieve how Zack is drawing this distinction between himself and the "Birthday Party Clowns", at least the Agatha show is connected to the MCU and Comics, what shit does And Just Like That have to do with fucking anything? He did that because he cared about it, not helping the idea that Zack's a closeted homosexual.

'Haha idiot commenter, you're only mostly correct, but not fully correct, making me the winner" - Meyer probably
I like how he says he "gave all of them a fair shot" sure buddy, I'm sure after reading the first 9 issues of fucking Squirrel girl number 10 also being terrible was a big shock to you.

you don't understand guys, Those were GROUND BREAKINGLY bad comics, that's why it was ok when Richard did it. now nobody is allowed to talk negatively about anything ever again because Richard says so. this hug box he's constructed is really pathetic.

"It's like people aren't watching anymore"
no, they're not. lol

I want to address something here. Zack has fixed ideas about certain things, and those ideas don't change no matter what the evidence is. In this case, the fixation is the idea that since Agatha All Along is about witches, it must be for tween girls. It can't be for anyone else, witches are for children who are girls, that is all.

Therefore adult men shouldn't be watching it. But, is Agatha All Along actually for tween girls? (Tweens are 10-13 years old, and usually it's used along with girls.)

Well, let's see:

Kathryn Hahn opens up about her nude scene in Marvel's 'Agatha All Along'

Kathryn Hahn is baring all for her latest Marvel project.
The actress, 51, stripped down for the first episode of the new Disney+ series "Agatha All Along," a spinoff of the Marvel series "WandaVision." In the first episode, her witch character, Agatha Harkness, awakens from a spell to find herself standing in her home completely naked. She then walks out of the house to talk to a neighbor, and her rear end is shown as she turns around to leave.
In an interview with Variety, Hahn revealed the nude scene was her idea.
"Well, I came up with it," she said. "I thought it was good to see her as stripped down, literally, as we possibly could, which spoke into her powerlessness at the present moment."
So, from the above, does this sound like a Disney show about silly-billy witches made for tween girls, as Zack asserts? Does Zack think that there should be naked lesbian witches in shows for girls ages 10-13 years old? Or has Zack decided that this show is the same as Disney's Hocus Pocus even though he could easily find out it is not with even a small amount of research?

so this bitch is whining about people talking about stuff they supposedly haven't seen and while he's doing so he's white knighting for shit he hasn't seen or knows what's in it.

:lossmanjack:

what a dumb faggot.

That is a massive lie. Most of the stuff he reviewed back in the day, the Squirrel Girl, Wasp, Iron-heart (no, not that one) and others were stuff aimed at girls and women in Marvel 's continous and misguided attempt to get women into comics (and losing most of the women that were into comics in the process). Them being aimed at a demographic that he does not belong did not stop him from ripping into them like a hungry dog does to an abusive owner. And he did so for years. They were groundbreakingly bad? Not really. A lot of the Image stuff that Zack worships were though as they were made by artists at their edgelord phase. But Zack does as he does because his little success has persuaded him that he is actually the bees' knees. Just like the edgelords he worships thought before their era was dubbed the "Dark Age" and they got embarassed, at which point they returned to the Big 2. He might try to say that they were very bad by Big 2 standards but no, Marvel went bankrupt at one point from how much they sucked. He does not know what he is talking about.
