The other thing is, yes the expression they have when they discuss it means they aren't enthusiastic about it. Which could mean that it isn't very good. Slop eater Zack wouldn't understand that though, because he loves the slop.

The only practical reasons I can think of he's not profiting off his back catalog is he's banned from IngramSpark or maybe he had back end deals with his artists or something where they get paid again for a second printing. @robo6 could fill us in on that. It makes no sense if even a hack like @Fandom Pulse can manage to sell his back catalog continuously why Simple Zack couldn't.

I own a piece of it, along with Chuck and Zack equally. When you buy RNRN as an add on, I get paid when that campaign fulfills. We talked about translating it and getting it into chain book stores… I’d get a check along with Chuck and Zack. Movies, toys, side scrolling beaten up games… blah blah blah, you get the picture.
It goes both ways: when I have a store connected to my site with RNRN merch, I need to share what I make with the IP.

I can't quote some of the posts on this website for some reason.

The answer to this is it seems to be a 2:1 like to dislike ratio, which is not downvoted to oblivion but not good. He usually only picks up a handful of dislikes for his comic videos, which is more normal for a youtube channel with not a lot of views.

Here is one of the many problems with Zack: He does nearly nothing of what would make one successful in his YT or publishing careers. He does not play the YT game nor does he get any comic titles apart from his own. He is does not try to do things right and yet is envious of others.

Reviews are almost always more interesting when the person has had time to think about the thing, initial reactions a lot of time are filled with fluff. The best "film criticism" on youtube is almost always videos about movies that came out years earlier than the review.

Watching something then rushing out a review the slop-content standard, the fact he waited a couple days presumably means he lost out on people who would have searched for a review when the show initially released, which you'd think would be a point in drinkers favor but at this point there's no release schedule or opinion drinker could have that wouldn't lead to some embarrassing attempt at snark from Zack.

I think a guy with a channel that has over 2 million subscribers and is growing feels comfortable enough to do whatever the fuck he wants. But, I'm sure he appreciates the constructive criticism from a consummate professional YouTuber with a shrinking channel like Zack, though.

The Drinker might have actual things to do like writing, having meetings, streaming with other people, working on his movie, living a life, etc that might get in the way of rushing out a review the second something comes out. Zack can rush out reviews, because he pretends to have a publishing business but spends all his time goofing off, screaming about other people on social media, impulse buying $500 arcade cabinets on Amazon and then trying to unbuy them, a whole lot of nothing. Certainly not finishing his years-late backed projects.

Also, The Drinker takes his time to compose a succinct and polished YouTube script unlike Zack who just lazily turns

I remember how late books I backed were, and those people lost my business. Also, no CG book has been of such quality that I've felt the need to reread it, or that any of them will be remembered by any meaningful segment of their readership t-minus one month after release.
