Jesus Richard. No wonder your recent campaigns have dragged their broken legs across the finish line instead of racing past it like they used to... or like

Damn, Richard how'd Comicbook: The IP Stealer book do again?
1733096585546.png

Oh right. Well, I mean that's just a 'Whatever Richard likes he puts in a book' It's not really an insight into his writing or producing How about Capture or Kill his latest actual story

1733096649102.png

woof. Okay okay, but what about his Superheroes, since that's more apples to apples comparison

1733096714096.png

Oh yeah.

Now, keep in mind. Eric July under authority of EVS and the paint lickers at CG have informed me that Eric's brand is DEAD. Mostly in large part because the side projects of cameo characters aren't making the millions that ISOM and others are making. Richard though? He's making revolutionary comics that literally hundreds of well paying customers are....reading once and putting on their shelf to rot.

Whatever, we've done this before. It's just impressive to me that 'idea man' Richard Meyer who has days upon days to sit on his roommate's couch seething over YouTuber boyfriends comes up with the most normie rehashing of other ideas and the even dumber, more gullible retards below him pay him for it. It's something to study, the fall of Richard and CG as a 'psuedo-movement' that was heavily idealized as "NOT GG because we won't make the same mistakes"

All this "Eric July is failing!!!" gaslighting efforts remind me of those TikTok girls claiming that if you manifest something really, really hard, like, if you say it out loud often enough, like, totally, it will totally literally come true.

Except it's middle-aged men we're talking about here, which makes everything more embarrassing.

On the topic of campaigns...

@Mr Processor

Now, I should really see Heaven's Gate someday because I've heard mixed things about it. But whether it was a good movie or a bad movie, burning through all that investment money destroyed the studio.

Funny anecdote about this. John Hurt had 14 weeks of doing absolutely nothing, so he went to London to film The Elephant Man in that time period before going back to film the introduction to Heaven's Gate. The intro which cost more to film than the entirety of The Elephant Man, a better film.

Does make you ponder where this excess money goes to.

Even his comment section is roasting his ass.

She would make more money than Zack at a con, I'd love to see Zack at a con & his turnout would be.
Are they? Maybe I'm just autistic but I don't see any outright trolling.

I can't hate Zack for hating Heather Antos. Still Zack, she is more successful than you are, let that sink in.

AND I THOUGHT WOKE COMICS WERE DEAD AND WE WON FAGGOT?!?!?!?!

It seems to be bombing.

$36k after two days and not even hitting the goal is a bad, bad sign. A couple years ago that $50k goat would've been hit in the first 30 minutes. I'm kind of surprised he did this, he must really be hurting for money somehow.
Why would they buy Warts and all again?

Is she though? If she's known at all throughout the industry it's for the milkshake incident, and that's thanks to Zack'o.

One of Zack's saving graces is that he's been thus far discreet enough that we can't quite pinpoint his financial status. My guess is that he's possibly squandered any windfall from his crowd-funded books but I have nothing to back this up except probable clues Zack accidentally drops here and there. I might be wrong and the guy might be doing ok.

Based on his recent commentary, he's given up on the idea of making real money from crowdfunding.

I think he mainly continues to do crowdfunded comics stuff just to be irritating. He thinks crowdfunding is over and people need to expect to make very little money from it from now on. I don't know, some people seem to be doing ok with crowdfunding:

Maybe it's just you and your cronies, Zack. (Oh, and Zack? That's the worst imitation of the Critical Drinker I've ever heard.)

It's not exactly the same but I get your point.
Board games should be dead, yet despite all assumptions they not only survive but thrive, comics could be doing the same if crowdfunders could pull their heads out of their asses.

That's a tabletop game, difference is all you need are books and paper to play it. So this is probably nothing but a book so 100K+ is good profit. You don't need a board necessarily. But boardgames are still a pretty big thing. On kickstarter you can see a bunch are funded, and I haven't been in Barnes and Noble in ages but they had them there too.

He's not the only one making comics simply to be irritating and argue with people. Vedo for example.

Does indigogo stop creators from doing that $500 goal bullshit? Because that was a pivotal part of the 'comicsgates way' last i knew. One of the main reasons so many of the small creators ran into trouble too.

No. They don't care if you fulfill or not. Really. It's about collecting that check-out fee. IGG/KS none of the crowdfunders are legally liable for the crowdfunded product. Backings are legally treated as donations/gifts. Thus IGG/KS don't have to enforce any rules beyond what's needed to engage in the US/Western Economy. (Tax ID, domestic mailing address, Western bank account)

i disagree. Indiegogo would not let Cecil run Cash Grab 2 there because he got so many complaints about him not fulfilling. It’s only a matter of time before EVS starts getting the same treatment himself as he make less and less money with each campaign he runs.

Indeed, like a thief that got away with stealing a candy bar, you cannot expect to never get caught just because you were not caught yet.
