Meyer never sued IDW, nor were there any "contract disputes" between the two. The linked footnotes don't even mention IDW.
Comicsgate has quite enough actual crap piled on its plate without AI hallucinations adding to the mess. I haven't scoured the entire piece long enough to find further inaccuracies, but that one stood out immediately. God knows what else Grok got wrong in that write-up. Stuff like that is what will enable EVS and other CG goofs to say none of it is accurate.

He talked passionately about the scams with lenticular covers where comic shops had to order stacks of unsellable floppies to get their hands on one of the special variants. The most thorough rebuttals of Richard 2025 were diagrammed by Richard 2017-2023. He made at least four videos on each of these topics.

I wonder how much of his bidness Eric owes these two hucksters' need to stem the tide of deserters from their endangered ministries. I've bought a couple Rippa books and they were whatever, Somewhere in the ballpark of Richard and Ethan, maybe half a notch below. But I never would have given him a dollar if Richard and Ethan didn't make the question of his comics' quality a long-running internet topic. (The rest of comicsgate combined doesn't amount to a rugby team's Discord server of course.)
 
I would humorously remark that Comic Gate has become more exaggerated and less sophisticated than BreadTube. However, I have observed that Comic Gate tends to exhibit a stronger anti-capitalist stance than the actual BreadTubers. Cova Lookout explicitly advocates for socialism among comic creators. I am surprised that more individuals have not ridiculed Tatoruzu on this platform. He has a long history of engaging in drama disputes, often involving mean comments criticizing him for taking TMNT too seriously and for kissing up to EVS, to the extent that he has had conflicts with his subscribers when calling out EVS. Tatoruzu opposes woke ideology, disapproves of racebending, and criticizes Eric July; however, he also opposes capitalism, viewing it as a woke economic system.
