How is this nigga so dumb? Manga is currently more accessible than comics to the average shopper and that's an observable fact. You pretty much only see comics in specialty stores while all the large chain stores probably manga selection even if it's just a small corner. I was at 5Below once and even they had a small spread of manga put out.

He's also being disingenuous. That first guy didn't say comics were dead, he was specifically referring to comics no longer being sold on spinner racks as in your local market. I want Meyer to tell us the last time he could buy DAREDEVIL comics at his supermarket

I used to think that, but now I think that he's too stupid to understand arguments.
It's the autistic way of thinking where the person barely gets the full picture of the argument and instead hyperfocus in a small detail.
It's why he focus so much on comments from Critical Drinker like "Who asked for this?" And takes it at face values arguing that nobody ever asked for any of the great movies of the past, so listening to the audiences and giving them what they want is bad business.

Maybe the gas station burritos fried his brain. These aren't even new talking points he's fighting against. People have been discussing for years how much easier it is find manga compared to comics nowadays with some even posting comparisons of the comic sections vs the manga sections with the comics section gradually shrinking and manga section gradually expanding

I go to Barnes and Nobel a lot. I have seen the multiple section for different kinds of manga, meanwhile there is A section for graphic novels and it's mostly big Netflix comics(the ones that Netflix adapted) and collections of 90's arcs from like batman and some marvel stuff. It's literally a small corner compared to a center peace FULL of manga.

It looks like the trashcast nonsense is starting to be about OTHER people at this point....I guess the Eric July drama is finally "for the most part" done. I'm guessing they either realized it was all for nothing and they had no negative effect on it but for themselves instead, or *and this is probably the most likely reason* other people are actually giving them attention, so they go after them now. Either way they are pretty much attacking each other now, especially Frog Tony. No one likes him at this point in CG or wants anything to do with him, and I can't say I blame them. He never should have jumped onto a drama train he knows nothing about, over something he never had an interest in in the first place. Good riddance to bad rubbish if you ask me.

I checked out on Western Comics back during the Spiderman clone saga, I see nothing has changed and things are all still gay and retarded.

I watched your video on this over the weekend. It was well-researched and a solid basis to cover the more specific ‘recent’ splits and faggotry within Comicsgate.

One constructive criticism if I may:

It felt a little at times that you had decided who was and who wasn’t a good guy during the whole Dungeoneers episode. Just because Dan Fraga spoke out against Ethan and Malin, that does not make him a good person in Comicsgate, as my recently highlighted post about his $160k con campaign demonstrates. PTP, despite being the lesser of two evils against Ethan, still was an apparent manipulator of Dale Keown and again is not a saint. A bit more balance I think might have helped the less informed viewer that the vast majority of the ‘movement’ are scum, regardless of which side of the Dungeoneers debacle they were on. The only users I would exempt from criticism are Renie, Kelsey and Narwhal; even if the latter’s artwork is a steaming pile of shit.

Otherwise, your video is a solid reminder what utter arch-cunts Malin and EVS have been towards certain members of Comicsgate. Malin, if reports are to be believed, had severe health problems when he was struck down with Covid and he seemed to become more of a turbo-charged cunt than ever after the illness.
