Does IndieGogo not have anything else comics related?

Interesting. Some salt about the D&C indiegogogo.

Put aside the snark, though, and they kind of have a point.

I can actually understand Zack's logic though; going digital can completely kill any chance of Jawbreakers making money. Mainly because Digital can open up a massive bottle that contains piracy, file sharing, and so on where he sees no returns after investing 20k just for production. He's doing it for old man reasons, but I get why he wants to stick with digital, as much as I prefer digital.

D&C’s funding campaign hitting a high mark so fast will make the comic pros super salty. They’ll have to accept the majority of customers don’t back their social justice shit at this point.

well shit if thats your crteria then i guess castlevania symphony of the night was a superhero videogame
The definition of "superhero" is so vague nowadays. Basically anything from a capeshit studio in a capeshit universe is capeshit now.

Long screenshot, always archive or cap everything, preferably both. I am about to get on a flight in a couple hours, and Archive.is is always finicky with me for some reason, so I'll do it when I land.

As much as Pia thinks that she is being incisive and clear headed about the issue, she really isn't, Comicsgate isn't targeting the editors, because they pretty much know that they share the same idiotic thinking that the pros have. Comicsgate is instead trying to get the attention of publishers and EiCs, who are the people in actual control of all creative activities.

All Pia managed to do here is to actually prove that the comic pros and editors share the same incestous type of relationships that sparked Gamergate and in turn, Comicsgate.
She says that criticising comics practices is career suicide, but look at Zack's indiegogo.

I'm surprised that Bri-Bri hasn't started lecturing people about her expertise in the field of comics tbh.
"Don't mansplain to me. I went to school with Stan Lee when he first made Superman and he wanted to make a proud woman of color but he couldn't get it approved thanks to BIGOTS like you. That would've added much needed diversity to the Avengers."
