Ha, they're pretty much set to lose the first two apparently because Hasbro caught wind of how they were raping GI Joe and making pure autistic, unamerican garbage. I actually wouldn't be shocked if SEGA kept demanding insane items too given they did that with Archie until they sold badly enough they took their horse home.
It really is amazing to watch businesses refuse money to continue to shoot up the societal equivalent of morphine. All while hiring people for basically the equivalent of a hot-dog wrapper too.

IDW's fall depresses me, as I'm a huge Transformers fan and I liked how they went right off the fucking rails with some of their storylines.

As some of you may recall that Marvel has been experimenting with licensing to IDW before with Star Wars. Licensing characters to other publishing companies isn’t a rare thing, they used to do it all the time, but that’s been scaled back for the better part of a decade now. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it does show a lack of faith on Disney’s part towards Marvel.
Considering the amount of mental patients running the asylum at Marvel, Disney or at least the one guy at the board meetings that’s even aware of what’s going on in the comics front must be losing its patience and looking to shift the board and make most to all Marvel characters into an IP farm.
It doesn’t help that CB Cebolski cucked out to Amanat. CB might have the title of Editor in Chief but he might as well be a puppet for Amanat to manipulate. I was very optimistic when CB took over, most of the cringe books got the axe, Brevoort was btfo’d & in danger of getting fired, Fresh Start was announced to bring back the things you loved about the heroes you actually wanted to see. But we all know how that’s playing out now, all those cringe books are coming back in full force, Brevoort is still employed and Fresh Start was a massive disappointment across the board (except for around 3/40-ish books). At this point Marvel looks to be in a precarious position, if licensing is more profitable and less costly you can expect the Marvel label to disappear from your Spider-Man comics permanently within the next 5 years.

I actually think that the comparison between these two manifestations of autism (GG vs CG) are kind of interesting in that the barrier to entry for making a high quality comic is much, much lower compared to the barrier for entry for making a high quality vidya. In the case of games, big companies can get fucked if they plough millions of dollars into developing a social justice wankfest and nobody buys it, while in comics, big companies can get fucked because renegades can poke their heads out of their basement and publish a runaway success right under their noses.
The free market always wins in the end. Autism, uh, finds a way.

IDW also quietly has a strong line of kid focused books. They don’t get much attention from the Comic aspersions on either side. They aren’t enough to keep IDW afloat with all the Trans Transformers and Trans GIJoe books. But they are a quietly ignored sane little corner of their company that seems to have been mostly overlooked by the lunatic brigade.

That's because no one on any side of the debate really gives a shit about those kinds of comics.
They've done some extremely good things with the Disney license - they've brought the classic duck comics back to comic stores in America. They're translating some of the best stuff from European Disney artists.
I suppose I should be thankful no one gives a shit about those, otherwise God knows what would happen.

But I hear you. I mean, marvel creators wish they had one iota of the creativity and technical skill that Italian and French comics have. And I honestly doubt they can be bullied by SJWs by threats to expel them from the comics community, either. Based European comics don't give a fuck.

I have no idea how autistic you have to be to think G.I. Joe is an outlet where you can get away with pure, open degeneracy. You could be slyly subversive and sneak in a military-critical implication here and there, but turning it into pure SJW bullshit is not going to fly.

Honestly, in paper this isn't a terrible idea. A big entry barrier for younger people - besides things like recent comics being confined to comic shops and the fact that comics aren't that digital interface friendly the way Marvel presents them - is that there's often decades worth of continuity that it's unreasonable to expect the average MCU casual to keep up with, much less a kid. And their last designated kid's line, Marvel Adventures, was met with moderate success and good reception as it was a fun "monster of the week" approach to Marvel characters that made it easy for newcomers and youngsters to get into a character based on their personality and skills without being bogged down with a bunch of confusing history.
In execution, however, this is probably going to be a glorious disaster. Not only is IDW run by a bunch of inmates who'd rather smear their own poo on the walls, but pretty much all the new "talent" is either wannabe animators who are too lazy/incompetent to actually animate or are working their way into the animation industry a la Noelle Stevenson: and all of them are proving themselves to have no fucking clue how children process information, not how to structure a story/design a series in a way that would appeal to a child. Even if they somehow manage to not turn every issue into trying to teach kids that it's a-okay to be gay or that gender is a social construct with no biological basis, it's still likely going to be terrible. Worst case scenario it's boring slice of life drivel a la Steven Universe or Hell Cat that kids find to be boring as fuck because what kind wants to read a superhero comic where the characters only talk, and best case it's the same cut-n-paste garbage that Marvel releases for their Disney cartoons where the content is one part terrible (and often dated) humor, and one part continuity porn that completely misses the point of making something more accessible.

Polygraphs just measure physiological indicators of stress, or at least things that are associated with stress. They're slightly better than voodoo. Slightly.
Also, sociopaths and pathological liars don't respond the same way to lying because it doesn't cause them any stress to lie. Waid lies all the time. A polygraph on him might very well be absolutely useless.
Finally, we already know he did what he did. Who needs a lie detector to know he's lying?
