BLOODHONEY was a slower burn, and I used a different tactic. I put ads in all of my daily recorded Star Wars videos with the IGG link in the description. I ended up getting a lot of casual backers at the $25 level. I might return to that for month two. Fewer livestreams, more ten minute funny pop culture videos with a CYBERFROG ad at the front. That's the best way to get new backers.
REKT PLANET was about finding out what my devoted base was. I've got 3500 people who signed up for email notifications, and I knew that they were enthusiastic backers that would back the campaign with big numbers right out of the gate. They loved BLOODHONEY and wanted more.
Also, I added the EXECUTIVE HONEYCOMB BOX at $200 to guarantee them every item in the campaign. This shrinks my backer count, inevitably, because it means that unless they return to buy another box, they aren't backing twice for multiple small items. But it obviously blows up the dollar amount, which is more impressive, and I believe will lead to more casual backers.
I think we'll match the BLOODHONEY backer number, but in any case, we're going to come damned close to 7 figures with this campaign. It's going to guarantee another huge result for CYBERFROG 3.
More advertising from smaller quicker videos couldn't hurt and i wish you luck, I just think it's going to be a real tough ask to reach BH campaign numbers. I don't blame you for a higher tier as it obvious that people are willing to pay for it, but it does start to fall into territory that farmers have likely seen a million times; having a shrinking audience pay more to compensate. It's also the exact same argument that CG has been throwing in the industries face.
Robo toad gives me iron man mark 2 vibes (the gold recolor of Mark 1 in the 60s.) The artwork reminds me of very early jojo with archie mixed, so all in all it seems like one of the those early Hollywood posters.
I actually like the art in this book it's better than anything CG is putting out. For all the WC sperging about Bratz covers while simping to wort the wizard it's hilarious to see JDA winning without kowtowing to the autists.
Who could imagine if you actually pay your artists and promote your own books instead of relying on the sperg network that you can actually get a decent looking comic made without a bunch of limp wristed slapfighting drama?
This popped up when I was checking on the progress of EVS's cyberfrog campaign lmao.

EVS has repeated multiple times that he's not aiming to save the mainstream comic book industry. Even Zack has admitted that it's too late at this point.
It may not be sustainable for their own model though. It's all well and good buying overpriced, mediocre graphic novels to stick it to the mouse. But what happens when the industry dies and all we have left are bad GI Joe rip offs and 90's throwback characters? They're selling now. But already the profits are down. Even Todd McFarlene's thing is for a one off toy. Not the actual GN. Could you honestly see a guy like him or anyone doing a kickstarter for every single comic without consequence? People are going to get fed up of paying 30 - 60 dollars plus postage overseas that can take each book up to 100. I can see digital being sustainable to a point through a subscription model. But it's never been the optimal way to read comics.

Comic books as it stands this day and age is an enthusiast's hobby, there's simple no organic way a new audience can be introduced because of video games and other mass media entertainment that are more digestible and appealing. Even if comic books transition to digital, I'm sure there will be zero growth because who would want to read comic books when they can play babby's first fortnite? let alone a digital one.
The people spending on these comicsgate kickstarters might not be consistent in numbers but there will definitely be hardcore customers that will be a consistent revenue for them. The challenge is to net those customers and keep them spending.
for that Star Wars Girl/Anna
I subbed to her channel maybe a month or so after she was on Youtube, maybe a year and half ago, or two years ago, don't know exact date.
Even though I don't watch every vid, Star Wars Girl does not come off as sexual or a Thot
I think she is very beautiful, but she does not dress sexy, kinda dresses tomboyish and is not sexual in her vids
And it wouldn't surprise me if she was a lesbian.
Her vids are just like other Anit SJW vids, what she likes and her art, etc.
But she is getting a bit crazy with anti SJW narrative, you don't want to full anti SJW crazy, horse shoe theory something
that being said, sorry but Anna's art is not so great, I mean, not bad, but her art is simple, or flat or has no excitement for cartoony style art.
I don't think that Vamp cover is great. Maybe wait till Anna's art gets better

She pulled off all the thot moves when she made the video to promote the cover. The squished cleavage and heavy emphasis on it caught my eye so fast I went "yup, full thot mode".
The dressing tomboy part, some mildly attractive women do this because they're not going anywhere special. She doesn't pull of full thot mode all day, she doesn't have to. She's probably been around geeks a lot considering her love for shit like Star Wars, so she knows what they think about women who overtly sexualize themselves on a daily basis to get attention.
And I think she's married/has a boyfriend, so probably not a lesbian.
It won't come anywhere close unfortunately. I generally like JDA, I feel bad for the guy after Ro & Warcampaign gaslit him on that ethno-nationalism issue and then ran him out of town under false pretenses. However his backer numbers peaked with Flying Sparks 1 when he was still in CG's good graces and his never recovered ever since.
I admire his perseverance but even if he went crawling back to CG and was accepted by Ethan, the backers themselves will always see him as an enemy.
According to JDA his working with a former industry veteran of over 30 years experience. He won't name the artist for fear that they'll be dog-piled by SJWs and CG alike, but I can't help but wonder who it is. I would have guessed Graham Nolan due to the Chuck Dixon connection, but it certainly isn't Nolan's style.
For those unaware there is a current #creators4comics running on twitter in which creators are auctioning stuff for donations to a book charity, which in turn will give those funds to comic book shops. It seems like it will be a clusterfuck worth keeping an eye on. There's twitter which jumbles timelines, people responding individually or hidden under other bids. After winning you have to donate to a separate website and then send the creator receipts and information. As far as i can tell there is no way to ensure that your donation will go towards comic shops. The amount of people interested in comics can be seen in the replies with many barely breaking 10 comments.

So many terrible creators offering so many terrible 'prizes'. The only thing that sounds interesting is a Zoom conversation with Jurnee Smollett and Rosie Perez, and I'm thinking Jurnee might end it quick if you ask about her brother Jussie.
Rosie seems cool, though. Could ask her about Do The Right Thing and that film she did with Jeff Bridges - Fearless.
So for the jon del Arroz excommunication can you guys link be to notable pages or a tldr on wc going after him for being friends with Voxday. I only remember Jon confronting Ro on a stream in early cg and ro working with ren.

I'm sure somebody has tried to flag his campaign. That said so far he hasn't provided any evidence, which is worse than partial evidence EVS provided (and frankly no sane person would dox their licensee to both the pro and anti speds). So calm your tits not everything is a frog orchestrated gay-op.

*This may not be correct, but it's what i remember reading* (Teddy has a thread and more info might be gleaned there)
Teddy said some hypothetical ethnostate stuff, the biggest i remember being: how are we going to remove all of the 11-20million illegal immigrants? VD: well Germany moved 6m Jews in the 1940s... I think VD was talking about mass movement of people whilst being a provocateur, but most took it as holocaust all the Mexicans. Teddy may or may not have said or done some other stuff, IDK i haven't read his thread properly. People also see him as a shyster due to his involvement of the sad puppies in the sci-fi book genre.
Now for what i know about JDA involvement is: JDA has published under VD umbrella, JDA has defended VD comments.
I don't believe it was a false flag because Roiloup was carping about being taken down last week, and the week before that was DA Talks. I was watching JDA's stream debuting when YouTube suspended services mid-debut of his parody. Nothing fake about it. That said, it's not like whoever is doing it needs Frog's or anyone else's approval to do so, so Del Arroz blaming him or blaming the group collectively is just standard JDA needlessly pissing away his credibility yet again.
Making a wholesome satire is actually kind of refreshing given the usual CG bullshit like targeted deplatforming, reporting people to the FCC for fraud or cartoons of you forcibly sodomizing your enemies on the internet.

Jesus Christ this is going to be a long one, I'll spoiler it so not to take up the entire page. Grab a cup of coffee, smoke em if you've got em and get comfy.
Gather round kids, Kiwi's, boys, girls and dickgirls and let me tell you the tale of:
It started with the Comicsgate Imprint saga.
Teddy Spaghetti (aka: VoxDay) created an imprint for potential Comicsgate creators to print and distribute under, similar to his Dark Legion line of comics under the Arkhaven umbrella. The Dark Legion imprint is for comic creator's (other than Vox) to print and distribute under but Vox wanted a banner or logo to identify the CG creators, while the Arkhaven imprint is for Vox's own comics like Alt-Hero etc.
Comicsgate was replused by the idea (can't say I completely blame them) and Ethan stream sniped Teddy during one of his Darkstreams announcing the project. His chat was filled with around 2000 raging CG spergs accusing him of trying to trademark/copyright/steal Comicsgate. Which in itself is false and because an imprint does not equal a trademark, yet this didn't stop the narrative. Vox was clearly shocked by the response (he looked like he was going to cry at one point) as the 2000 comicsgaters had completely overwhelmed his chat, he clearly felt betrayed because prior to this he was under the assumption that he and Ethan were going to work together and Ethan was a regular in his Darkstream chat. Despite what Ethan claims, they were clearly on friendly terms, at least in Vox's mind.
**I've looked for the Darkstreams in question but it looks like Vox has wiped most of his old content**
Afterwards Ethan claims to have spent $8000 hiring lawyers to protect Comicsgate by sending Vox a cease and desist, Vox claimed Ethan was lying because he received no such correspondence. It would later be revealed that Cridious had preemptively acquired the Comicsgate trademark in secret, thus is was impossible that Vox Day held such a trademark. It was about this time Jon Del Arroz, who was producing Flying Sparks with Arkhaven, released a livestream defending Vox Day.
This was not well received by Comicsgate or Ethan and Jon was summoned to explain himself on a stream of Ethan's (which I can't be fucked looking for). After the stream Jon was invited on Warcampaign and was confronted about his association to Vox Day. Jon was asked if he was an ethno-nationalist, which he denied but was asked to explain Vox's views. Jon then very unwisely debated the merits of ethno-nationalism from the point of view of Vox Day which then Ro and Warcampaign seized upon and clipped and got him in their "gotcha moment". The Warcampaign stream in question still exists but it has been set to private.
Jon was then brought back on another Comicsgate Live stream to answer for his crimes against CG and Caesar, the charge being an ethno-nationalist. He was tarred, feathered and unceremoniously basically told to fuck off. Surprisingly Mike S Miller was the only one to give him a chance to explain himself further afterwards and hosted Jon below:
Either way it was to little to late, Jon was the first official purge of Comicsgate but certainly as we know now not the last. Exile clearly wasn't enough and Jon faced harassment ever since, his twitter was suspended, his Indiegogo's flagged, his blog-site targeted etc. It all culminated with Jon claiming he was receiving death threats and asked Ethan to take a stand.
This lead to yet another Ethan stream, which again I honestly can't be fucked looking up, if it even still exists. Basically Ro denied sending Jon death threats and denied anyone in Warcampaign was involved, Ethan disavowed anybody doing so and Jon was sent away packing.
A few days later shit the fan when Renfamous tweeted this:
- Ro was shamed and left Comicsgate and Warcampaign for lying to his precious Caesar, he also cried his eyes out like a bitch on stream, fuck I wish that stream was still up.
- Panboy seemed pretty salty about it all:
- Panboy, GR Peephole, Tyler and Colonel Comics took control of the Warcampaign channel in Ro's absence until he returned several months later.
- Jon remained exiled despite everything.
- Ethan was forced to admit on stream that Ro was a liar but "that's just fine". Hey "birds of a feather, flock together" amirite @FROG ?
- And to this day Vox Day remains incredibly salty about Ethan and Comicsgate and totally doesn't bring them up on his blog, because his an alpha male who literally doesn't care.
