Mormons are the "Jews" of White people... along with the Jesuits... and the Anglos... and Irish.
Ah right. Origin for Shoahfrog?
It's interesting to see the rumblings and bubblings of recrimination bursting forth from the Fandom Menace against
@FROG. Especially since he came up with that name, unlike Comicsgate which he adopted, though some would say he invaded/pillaged/raped.
I wonder if Fandom Menace historian Stephen Dalton, er Walton, has credited Frog properly in his book. He named the Fandom Menace, and kind of created it. Back in December 2017 the backlash against TLJ came immediately upon release, but in the early months it was informally referred to as the boycott or the rebellion. Then when Frog got involved a few months after the release, he dubbed the movement 'The Fandom Menace' which then created a swarm of self-important yet cuckish Youtube critics known as The Fandom Menace.
He was definitely the first to really push that brand if he wasn't the first to actually come up with it. For a good minute, the Star Wars stuff really boosted his channel. The salt mines were free real estate and he was good at it, but it became painfully clear that he wasn't just venting to vent or riffing to have fun, it was all a calculation to keep the logarhythm fed. That alone isn't so bad, but when reports of his extracurricular activities started surfacing coupled with the very complicated relationship Ethan has with "principles," I think it hampered his ability to seemlessly blend in wherever he went. As he has now spent most of his time on CG than anything else, other fulltime Star Wars fan personalities moved in and made it their own. EVS doesn't have the pure nerd energy required to keep up with the average Star Wars fan.
If Ethan were a straightforward guy who was truly unconcerned about how popular he was, I don't think he'd be getting as much flack as he does and I certainly might not have grown to dislike him. If only we could all be more like Nerdrotic! But every complaint gets stale given enough time and repetition so if the breadtuber doesn't get ahold of something positive to talk about, (Ethan did have that outlet as a creative but spoiled it from the unneeded drama and livestreams) things can spiral to the point of constant purity testing the true Scotsmen (which also happened with CG anyway despite the ability to actually make something). And yeah, as straightforward as Gary is, everything seems to be another rainy day stream and I haven't been following him lately. Something has to give or move on in the long term.
And now the pattern has emerged of compulsively finding a good guy and a bad guy in any given arena, and simping till the death of the channel, a purge from social media, or a lolsuit, or all three. But if anything in CG has taught us anything about fighting the man, it's to just take your meds and walk away.
There is a better way in my humble opinion: you could point/laugh/document/a-log/dox on KF, whatever your preference be, and do it for great justice.
Jarbo had his take on the Synder V Geeks drama. He doesn't seem to be a fan of me. When I questioned his outrage videos about Anita, Zoe and Ghostbusters
DISCLAIMER: I'm not encouraging people to troll I'm just bringing up Jarbo had a take and I questioned it.
It goes entirely without saying that every take from Jarbo is garbage.
Any serial killer can kill any number of people and all that folks seem to focus on, if the killer is white and their victims aren't, is that race must have been the primary motivation and then feeling the urge to preach to the rest of the population about why it's wrong as if it isn't common sense already and therefore subtly implants the idea of racism being endemic in whites.
Of course what that bastard did was wrong regardless of his motivation. Do they honestly think if that guy really did decide to kill those asians because they were asian, that a cute little lecture would have changed his resolve? Or is it the collective white devil telekinesis mind-control chi that flows through all white matter that must be spirit bombed? As if we're all just about to go on anti-asian kill spree or something. Give me a break.
Jarbo does bring up one good point, that Jeremy has said he doesn't need Hollywood. Well he looks like he's not quite as detached as he says he is. If he wants to stop getting thrown from the mechanical bull, he has to stop trying to ride it all the time and focus on something that really adds introspection or value to what he represents. Mix it up a little and avoid the interpersonal drama.
