THE WHISPER NETWORK is REAL!!! I am one step closer to exposing the truth! Proof below
Piper Stream:
Piper didn't listen to me when I said we were stream sniping her and left in the backroom. Dark Grift lost his collective shit at me for calling him out on his bullshit.
TheQuaff Stream:
Wasn't expecting TenNaple to carry water for Mitch after the way Mitch fucked over his backers for Walmart.
The contrast between Mitch's CG level of fulfillment (2yrs late, lied to backers, cash grab) and Ernst's (Tennaple type custom box, $25 hardcover for softcover price, timely delivery) value for the $ and respect for customers is stark.
Maybe Mitch and TenNaple are friendlier than I would have guessed.
Then again, Doug T's opinion may change when he reads the story. I liked the art in RR too but the thin story had me wondering why I bothered.
On his latest show, titled "Another boring livestream by me", Frog discussed his plans to appear on regular foil lolbertarian comic shop owner Dan Shahin's stream next week. This was not received with universal approval.
tl;dr both of them thought the other would promote it more, they only did this to pitch it to Netflix, and Elliot extended the book over double the size then complained about money.
If they think Netflix will pick up anything by Doug Tennaple then they're the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet. Speaking off, I feel like CG didn't rage at the Invincible cartoon? Is this a case of the growing disconnect between them and. the comic book crowd writ large?

Doug's always against customers holding people accountable until he judges them guilty.
He originally refused to side with Vic on a livestream until he determined who he thought was good and bad. It's the opposite of Ethan, who rarely, if ever, stiff arms his audience at large.
@FROG = the only customer is my narrow CG base, but my narrow CG base is never wrong
Wormie = the customer is whoever buys my book without complaint and is only right as long as they don't ask me to do anything I don't want to.
Interesting. I wonder what value Dan Shahin has at this point?
At this point he's moved on. This was him looking to get some good press on his way out the door.

Shahin has no value at this point. I don’t know why EVS would appear on his stream. It’s kinda pointless. Neither side will be convinced of the other‘s argument.
Good point on the Coate‘s situation but, I think he did more damage to his cause by comparing Red Skull to Jordan Peterson because a lot of young people look favorably on Peterson because he speaks common sense,
CG didn’t rage at the Invincible cartoon because it’s actually good. That’s the comic book all CGers wish they could make.
Several weeks ago I mentioned I was working on a name and shame list for Comicsgate, CG adjacent and assorted other crowdfunded comic book creators who are overdue on their campaigns. This list isn't perfect but it took weeks to gather the relevant information on all these books. So without further adieu, in order from most overdue to least, I present:
The Crowdfund Name and Shame List
PROJECT: BRAND BY ANTONIO BRICE AND CANAAN WHITE CREATOR: Antonio Brice RAISED: $78,031 from 2,488 backers FUNDED: September 25th 2018 DUE: January 2019 STATUS: Closed FULFILLED: Now OVERDUE: 27 months NOTES:
Comicsgate's original diversity hire who proves why such initiatives are fucking retarded. CG's house nigger has been fulfilling his book for the past year and there are still hundreds of international backers who have not received their books in the comment section. The way Antonio responds to criticism is absolutely appalling and he deserves every drop in dollars and backers. The subhuman, obese retard somehow fucked up what should have been a golden ticket that other Comicsgate creators would have killed for and was the direct cause of Canaan White leaving Comicsgate for greener pastures. Now since Antonio realized his stupid fucking burger comic is a dud and Canaan has rightfully abandoned him, he's hanging around Doug TenNapel like a bad smell. If this tree-swinger comes crawling back to you @FROG pull out that whip and in the words of Johnny Rebel "send that nigger back!"
PROJECT: THE KNOX CREATOR: a.p.anderson89 RAISED: $2,215 from 62 backers FUNDED: Unknown (flexible goal) Nov 2018 - Jan 2019 DUE: May 2019 STATUS: Closed FULFILLED: No OVERDUE: 23 months NOTES:
According to the last update 9 months ago the creator promised four books with a flexible goal, meaning he was obligated to fulfil four books with just over 2 grand.
PROJECT: THE GOOD KNIGHT: NIGHTMARE REALM #1 CREATOR: Crystal McGhee RAISED: $16,325 from 707 backers FUNDED: February 15th 2019 DUE: July 2019 STATUS: Closed FULFILLED: No OVERDUE: 21 months NOTES:
According to the latest update 1 month ago, the creator will begin fulfillment on April 30th this year.
PROJECT: LADY ALCHEMY GRAPHIC NOVEL / LADY ALCHEMY: MUTUS LIBER GRAPHIC NOVEL CREATOR: Martina Markota RAISED: $54,165 from 1,368 backers FUNDED: November 2nd 2018 DUE: August 2019 STATUS: Taken down by Indiegogo for review FULFILLED: No OVERDUE: 20 months NOTES:
Basically another Cridious situation, Martina's problems have been discussed previously however the campaign ran into trouble when the former art team sued her.
PROJECT: ASGARD CHAPTER 1 CREATOR: Charles Jones / Ben Jones RAISED: $25,182 from 486 backers FUNDED ON: November 7th 2018 DUE ON: September 2019 STATUS: Closed FULFILLED: Partially OVERDUE: 19 months NOTES:
You may remember Charles Jones as the other black guy from late 2018 who appeared as a guest on various Comicsgate streams, usually paired with Antonio Brice. It would appear that Asgard was partially fulfilled domestically to US backers, however many international backers are in the comment section claiming they never received their book. Charles is not answering questions, ceased posting updates, disappeared from livestreams and has appeared to have gone dark on his twitter account.
PROJECT: TALES FROM THE STACKS VOL 1 CREATOR: Aspirational Comics / Professor Geek RAISED: $25,812 from 763 backers FUNDED: April 15th 2019 DUE: September 2019 STATUS: Closed FULFILLED: Fulfilling now OVERDUE: 19 months late NOTES:
Professor Geek was an early Comicsgate comic book reviewer until he wiped his reviews and largely disappeared after referring to Jim Healis' Blue Mamba as a CG book. Healis was funded on one of @FROG's early streams during late 2018 and later disavowed the movement. Geek was a milquetoast youtuber, his book looks shit and it's late, there's nothing else really to discuss.
PROJECT: IRON SKIES CREATOR: Kristopher Rue RAISED: $16,380 from 530 backers FUNDED: July 11th 2019 DUE: December 2019 STATUS: Closed FULFILLED: Partially OVERDUE: 16 months NOTES:
Another campaign where the comment section shows that international backers haven't received their orders. Canaan White was a cover artist, no wonder the poor guy left CG when he was shackled to incompetent creators.
PROJECT: DEATHSWORN: BOOK ONE CREATOR: Karl O'Rowe RAISED: $60,781 from 1,006 backers FUNDED: October 12th 2019 DUE: March 2020 STATUS: In-Demand FULFILLED: No OVERDUE: 13 months NOTES:
Another campaign, another incompetent creator who can't meet his own self imposed deadlines.
The way Antonio Brice responds to his backers would make Richard Pace blush. The writing in Brand was so bad the artwork started to suffer. Maybe I just hated the story that much, but not even Caanan White could save that pile of shit. Also his Burger comic was pretty much the same idea. Fat Black man has a power up and becomes attractive or powerful or something.
The only interesting thing about Tales from the Stacks was Jon Malin and Keung Lee doing covers for it.
Ritter even did the colors for Malin's piece. I believe they had a competition to see who could sell more on that campaign. Just my spotty memory on this, but it felt like the early days of CG was very much about helping creators in the community. Even the smaller ones like Professor Geek. Seems like its more everyone should pull their own weight these days. I blame That Star Wars Girl for coming on the livestreams, talking about the deformities on her body and being incredibly boring. After her and Cecil started shitting up the livestreams it kind of became a high school clique popularity club and a poor attempt at Howard Stern style shock jock radio. At least from my perspective. Obviously those shows get a lot of views.
Karl O'Rowe is a dumbass who once almost came to tears on a frogstream and fell out of his chair drunk. CG meant something to him because he fought his whole life. Against who? Who cares, your book looks stupid. Just noticed that he's got a 4 inch figure on his campaign as well. While that's cool for someone with the bandwidth and production capability of Ethan to do, its probably one of the worst copycat moves for a first time creator to attempt. Especially a late one.
Is this going to have some kind of collector value?
Iron Skies that dude was going to sell his car to make the campaign meet goal. It was just a work for hire thing for Caanan. $500 for a Caanan White cover because that's what Antonio was asking as Caanan's (super) Official art broker. Book looked bland despite its steampunk motif.
TenNaple is a contrarian. I think he takes positions against public perception often just to be on the other side.
But here he doesn't gloss over or explain away Mitch's sleazy bait and switch IGG tactics but rather pretends they never happened and that Mitch didn't deliver for ... other reasons.
I'm not sure if TenNaple thinks he's fooling his audience here or if he's fooling himself.
Mitch is scum and he shit on the backers that made his dream possible. Even Ethan realized defending that was a losing proposition eventually. Doug's defense of Mitch here is perplexingly self defeating even from a contrarian.

I doubt the slender segment of twenty something Libertarians Peterson reaches are Coates audience. He's writing for the New York Times editorial board.
Agree to disagree. Invincible was unbearable, but I didn't like the comic. The show is pretty woke from the first episodes I watched. I dropped it. Not at all what I want to see.

Maybe it'll be good tube? I guess. Dan tends to hedge that off by doing things like turning off the chat.

yeah I just saw the third episode... Christ, they turned the woke meter all the way up to 100 on that one. They even mentioned Tanihisi Coates as required reading to impress a girl.

With that, though, I could see certain wokeists that haven’t read the comics getting incredibly fucking mad if the show lasts long enough to get to when Invincible breaks up with the woke black feminist to get with Eve, the main romance of the series and a ginger-haired white woman.
And that’s not something that can easily be written around/changed, it affects quite a lot in the story.

I never liked the comic book too much though, so it didn't bother me as much.
It was always doing woke shit.
The abortion virtue signal, the 'that's gay' controversy leading him to turn the character's friend into a queer.
But that's not why I didn't like it. It was the substance beneath all of that. The edgy violence, the Dragon Ball ripoff down to the character designs and powers. It just wasn't very good or original after a handful of issues. I honestly don't even get the cartoon. Who's their market?

I don't know, wasn't he portrayed as kindof an asshole?
With these people, that’s just going to make them even more mad.
They’re not going to be able to take him being a even sort of an asshole to a woke feminist POC. Expect angry opinion pieces about how they should have changed the entire story’s trajectory just to keep them together, or just raceswapped “the other one” instead.
IGN already sort of started, complaining about how the added diversity is “tokenized” and “doesn’t affect the actual story in the ways that it should”, so it’s not without precedent.

their market is the teen and twenty something crowd that is already indoctrinated into wokeness. So, while the comic is woke, it’s not woke enough to the point where it kill sales like a Harley Quinn or Star Wars High republic comic.
I think him being an asshole has a lot to do with his Viltrimite genes kicking in. Kinda like what happened with his dad turning from a milk and cookies Superman hero into a domineering psychopath.
As I told @VIkkiVerse when I got the motion for an entry of default judgment against Martina, it would likely be a nothingburger depending on what Martina's lawyer did (though the fact she waived service and the attorney was pro hac'd in gives no reason for her to have missed filing an answer). On 06 April, Martina filed a motion to dismiss for a lack of jurisdiction. Because of this, the motion for default was set aside despite her "response" being a day late. This isn't necessarily a big thing, but it looks bad to the judge when your initial filing is late.

Shahin's value is in the clips of his retarded takes like "Yeah, the art is great, the story is interesting enough I guess, and the there are a ton of extras, but it's just too much value, it sucks!".

A show like that couldn't just air on cartoon network, so its steaming service and content is king for streaming. But I imagine the biggest draw for Amazon Prime is the 'free shipping.'

I never understood the appeal of Invincible. I was also put off by the style of the art combined with the hyper gore. Virtue signaling bullshit to lecture your readers like you're some kind of Leftwing Sunday school teacher also appeals to me about as much as a porno starring Mags Visaggio and a wildebeest. And celebrating abortion like it's a contraceptive is nauseating to me.
