The thing you're missing is that, for better or worse, the cheesecake in manga has been normalized. It's why the big two are getting hammered in sales by manga. Macophilia? Ehhhh... no.

What made the creator of Wonder Woman different is that he had a whole ideology he wanted to preach through bondage, lesbianism and female supremacy. He said something once to the effect that the only way to create peace in the world was to teach men to accept bondage.
