Whenever I get into this argument with people I'm struck by how fragile they perceive the US to be. We're simultaneously the strongest, greatest country on earth but if we implement (one) policy we'll instantly become a communist dystopia. I guess because PragerU said so? I'm sure there's no ulterior motives behind that at all, nosiree.
Also I'm sure everything that has ever happened in Venezuela has happened in a vacuum. No shady shit done by the CIA or anything. The US
definitely doesn't have a history of embarrassing coup attempts in South American countries, nope. And we definitely don't publicly back opposition leaders or enact trade policies that have wide-reaching affects on latin american economies.
