Possibly, but the guy saying he does is an FBI Special Agent who apparently specializes in this issue and that's easily the most notorious and well known such media. The hash of it is probably in every single federal database used to track such things.

For some context on this:
Dennis Aogo, a black, former football player got one of his teammates canceled for using a racial slur this week.
Then multiple, questionable actions surfaced about Aogo himself including him allegedly asking a woman whether she wants to try his "big black niggercock".
A politician of the german Green Party used this to call Aogo racist himself and now it blew up and everybody wants to cancel the politician.

That's easy, probably intent to shill it out to other repulsive fuck pedos. When it comes to stuff like CP and shit. Physical pictures and VHS tapes and DVDs are still prized, because digital media can get your honey trapped real easy. If you're physically giving someone a disk, you're less likely to raise a few eyes unless people already *know* something is up.

i could also see that just being standard boomer dumbfuckery when it comes to downloading files, if the sick fuck was braindead enough to leave it seeding and not destroy his hard drives once he got his jollies off to extreme toddler torture then i can believe man just hit download twice and thought nothing of it

makes me wonder about the pedophiles who are unfortunately blessed with an above room temperature iq

Most Pedophiles I have heard about are usually caught because of dumb shit like that. Also uploading their shit to white/clean sites like Flickr and Imgur. It's all really dumb.
