Probably not worthy of actual happening but Sinatra Says just made over $8,000.00 US dollars for drunkenly and incoherently shitting on Amber Lynn Reid for the last coupe hours.
Shit, wish I had that kind of personality for people to throw money at me while drunk. Sitting alone in a cramped apartment in the middle of the night playing offline games just doesn't bring in the cash.

Sometimes "no news is good news." It's often superior to the ancient Chinese curse: "may you live in interesting times."

Relax and soak in the tranquility while it lasts, lads.
Especially with how this week has gone, a few days of quiet is a good thing if it means I can use the farms without it going down.

Rundown:
  1. Audacity (a very famous open source audio editor) got bought by a corporate entity and the new owners decided to add telemetry. This announcement did not go well with the FOSS community
  2. A fork was made by another organization
  3. /g/ finds out that the lead maintainer of this new fork is a mentally unstable, glow-in-the-dark tranny
  4. Tranny has a nuclear meltdown in response to the word "sneed"
Start here

The best thing about "sneed" is that it means literally nothing, but every tranny and karen who hears it makes up a definition on the spot for what it must mean.

It was also mentioned somewhere in the thread that one tranny in particular got anal about "sneed" supposedly being a term for "someone with special needs", and the only thing they used to back that up was an UrbanDictionary entry from 2005 which, I should point out, doesn't even show up at the top and requires you to scroll all the way down into the outdated negrated definitions.

And yet somehow this was enough to get the Arch User Repository (AUR) to delist Sneedacity as a package. Fucking incredible.
