In the world of AI and copyright law it was revealed a few weeks ago the company Meta downloaded over 80 terabytes worth of pirated books to help train its AI models. The whole plan was authorized by Mark Zuckerberg despite protest from some of his employees. The entity formerly known as Facebook Inc. is now facing legal trouble as a result of the piracy and recently defended itself in court.

Turns out that the auction house for the domain registrar, Sav, forgot to have a transfer lock on the domain and the chapotraphousecels just transferred the domain to another registrar spoiling the auction after the bidding reached $2365 L M A O

Ashley St. Clair, Elon Musk's latest baby momma who recently hit him up publicly over Twitter about his lack of communication has now hit him up with a paternity suit and is trying to gain full custody of their child (his 13th known child).
In the suit screenshots are shared that include Elon saying he wants to have "a legion of kids" and also that he said "I want to knock you up again" to St. Clair. Beyond this, he shared that pre-election he was receiving a large amount of "credible death threats".

The suit also seems to show that St. Clair is trying to show that Elon has strong ties to New York. This is likely a strategy to try and prevent Elon from moving the case to Texas which has limits on child support payments (and is what Elon previously did with his & Grimes child custody lawsuit).

Curiously, it appears that Taylor Lorenz was either first to get access to the court documents about this suit or perhaps has preferential access to St. Clair as she was the first to post this story as a "scoop".

It is general election day in Germany, ballots are being cast until 6 PM local time (noon Eastern Time)
Two votes are being cast - one for a candidate in the district (like a US House race), of which there are 299, and one for a political party. The Bundestag (federal parliament) is then filled proportionally based on party votes, 630 seats if I am not mistaken.

In order to enter parliament, a party needs at least 5% of the vote (the 5% threshold) or 3 directly elected district seats. Because no party usually wins a majority, coalition negotiations follow - these can take weeks or months. Once parties agree on a coalition, a chancellor candidate is proposed, who must be elected by the Bundestag.
