Large Dam Spanning the Dnipro River Blows Up - Russian Invasion of Ukraine

Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Oblast, Ukraine

1686062775487.png

On the early morning of 6 June 2023, the Nova Kakhovka Dam, spanning a length of 3,273 m (10,738 ft) of the Dnipro River, blew up, with wide-spread flooding occurring from the reservoir that the dam created. The Russian-held town of Nova Kakhovka is flooded, the Ukrainian-held city of Kherson is evacuated and is flooded, many islands that were in the Dnipro River downstream are flooded, and Russian forces south of the river retreated from flooded positions. The flooding of the reservoir will result in the loss of cooling capabilities for the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant located upstream in the Russian-held village of Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

As usual, people quickly point fingers:

Ukraine and our /uhg/ board has blamed Russia for the attack.
Russia and our /chug/ board has blamed Ukraine for the attack.
Others believed that the dam collapsed on its own weight because of two things: (a) damage from both the Ukrainians and Russians, where Ukraine blew the dam with HIMARs when Russian forces occupied Kherson and the Russians set charges and blew the top off of the dam after they evacuated Kherson and (b) the Russians had kept the reservoir at a low water level and that the sudden deluge of water against the compromised structure could have caused a collapse. Washington Post reveals that CIA had learned that Ukrainian Special Forces (answering directly to Ukraine's commander in chief of the armed forces) had planned out the attack on Nord Stream Pipeline. Washington Post calls this "some of the most specific evidence to date linking the government of Ukraine to the eventual attack in the Baltic Sea"

Washington post further states that the details they obtain prove that "for nearly a year Western allies had a basis to suspect Kyiv in the sabotage."

"The European intelligence made clear that the would-be attackers were not rogue operatives. All those involved reported directly to Gen. Valery Zaluzhny, the country’s highest-ranking military officer,"

While the operation was “put on hold, for reasons that remain unclear", according to German investigators, "key details emerging of that operation line up with the earlier plot." Furthermore, "Investigators also suspect that at least one individual who serves in the Ukrainian military was involved in the sabotage operation."

Washington post further goes on to state that "the report[...]wasn’t the only piece of evidence pointing to Kyiv’s role in the pipeline bombing."

Over 4 weeks since his last video on Twitter (May 9) since his firing from Fox News on April 24, Tucker Carlson released his first official Tucker on Twitter segment, covering his criticisms against Ukraine (including the Nova Kakhovka Dam) and Zelensky, as well as aliens (no, really, aliens) and UFO technology, in which he criticizes the media for not reporting on the latter.
  • Around the 0:53 mark, Tucker blamed Ukraine for blowing up the Nova Kakhovka Dam (with proof from The Washington Post) and the Nord Stream pipeline (no proof given).
  • Around the 2:48 mark, Tucker called President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky a rat, in addition to a comedian-turned-oligarch, a persecutor of Christians, (and) a friend of Blackrock
  • Tucker later follows this up with a video of U.S. senator Lindsay Graham and Zelensky being happy that Russians are dying.
  • Around the 4:24 mark, Tucker starts talking about tautologies and how people in power use them, giving an example of how Nikki Haley in an interview with CNN that it is important that you must support Ukraine because Ukraine needs your support.
  • Tucker then calls American citizens the least informed about world events, and says that a farmer from Tajikistan knows who blew up the Nord Stream pipeline and that skinny men in dresses are not girls.
  • Around the 6:54 mark, Tucker then starts talking about how the media ignored stories about what Americans want to listen to, and talks about this "bombshell" of a report where the U.S. government has evidence that aliens and UFOs exist (no really, I'm serious, he mentioned that), and that they used alien technology to make advanced fighters according to a whistleblower.
  • Tucker mentions in the 8:43 mark that Soviet citizens were misinformed about Americans back in the Cold War and now it is Americans' turn to be misinformed.
  • Around the 9:25 mark, Tucker then mentions because Americans are misinformed that we live in a dysfunctional society because secrecy by media and the government is a powerful tool of control.
  • Tucker finally thanks Twitter on the 10:00 mark but says that he will leave if Twitter gatekeeps him.

Akin to the r/antiwork interview, Jesse Watters snagged another fascinating subject for interview: VitaiSlade (AKA David Kanaszka Jr.)
1686166086413.png

Kanaszka is a furry responsible for the ownership of TheDealersDen (a popular furry online marketplace for fursuits, art and product to consoom), a Bitcoin "Educator" and now voice of the furries on Fox News despite being told it was a bad idea via democracy:

While discussing Florida's ban on children attending adult performances, Watters introduces Furries as part of a "powerful group of people" who are upset.
After giving a brief boomer-friendly description of what furries are, Watters brings up that there is a "sexual undercurrent" at the events (see: furry conventions) and cuts to a furry getting paddled.
After getting in his "Furious Furries" bit in reaction to the new protections for children, Watters introduces Kanaszka where we get a few poorly thought out answers from the five minute interrogation interview:

  • Watters: "...you're also great at spanking,.. what's going on with the spanking at furry conventions?
  • Watters: "Why do you want kids around people dressed up as squirrels getting spanked?"
    • Kanaszka: "...I think it's an adult only environment for that... The furry conventions themselves don't have anything to do with that."
  • Watters: "Why are you upset that kids are not allowed to be at furry conventions"
    • Kanaszka: "...No matter what their age there is nothing inherently sexual about these conventions"
  • Watters: "Why are you and your crew so insistent on having the kids there?"
    • Kanaszka: "...we're misunderstood as a group and (uh) it's very easy to vilify us"
  • Watters: "Do you blame yourself for being misunderstood? You're the one dressed up as a... Racoon?"
    • Kanaszka: "Absolutely..."
  • Watters: "If I (or we sent Johnny) to one of the conventions, what should we dress up as?
    • Kanaszka: "...what kind of animal do you think you would be?"
    • Watters: "Probably a dinosaur"
Watters says he has to run to finish the interview, telling Kanaszka to not "sweat too much".

And following in the footsteps of the r/antiwork fiasco, furries are not happy. See this post (clearnet) for the full clip and some furry levels of seething which is forecasted to continue into the week.

Matt Walsh, Creator of the documentary "What it is a woman", has published a 20 post thread on twitter exposing

"The largest “trans healthcare” providers in the U.S. are rubber-stamping letters approving gruesome, life-altering surgeries. It’s such a racket that my producer was approved for testicle removal in #22minutes. The tape is disturbing."

A company selling “I can’t believe it’s not oestrogen” brand HRT has turned out to be an op disguising a herb that increases testosterone, worsens male pattern baldness and can lead to serotonin syndrome in the doses they recommended as HRT. Once this was revealed they’ve put up merch mocking troons and a fake class-action lawsuit for people who have gone bald.

According to this review of the upcoming movie, The Flash, the film lampshades the titular star, Ezra Miller's, recent numerous crimes, and tries to jokingly imply they're just the result of him not being able to "get proper help for his mental health problems".
Early on in the movie, they’ve given Miller’s Flash a line that appears to address the elephant on the screen and to dovetail neatly with Miller’s recent claims of suffering from “complex mental health issues”. Facing a traumatised eyewitness, our hero suggests: “You should seek the services of a mental health professional. The Justice League is not very good at that part yet.” And then there’s a naughty pause, and a half turn to camera, followed by: “Trust me!”

Floridawoman, fake whistleblower, and liar, Rebekah Jones has plead guilty to 3 counts of stalking. She responded by creating a now deleted Twitter thread accusing the vicitim of rape, blasting his name, and posting a photo of him and his current significant other.

This thread is still in Prospering Grounds for those not logged in. She is a wild ride and I suggest you check out the small thread and her Twitter account over the past few days.
