Taiwans TSMC announces a 100 Billion dollar investment to spin up Semiconductor and Microchip manufacturing in Arizona. This will make the USA the largest producer of microchips and semiconductors in the world. The investment is further supported by Invidia and AMD who will also contribute as part of a joint venture and has the potential to bring down the cost of everything tech related. From graphics cards to AI programs. There is of course a geopolitical subtext to this, given Taiwan's position as claiming to be the lawful government of China, in opposition to the Chinese Communist Party.
