The NTSB has released their preliminary report regarding the UPS MD-11 crash suspecting metal fatigue in the pylon mounts causing the pylon to catastrophically fail on take off.

All MD-11's and DC-10s were also recently grounded by the FAA.

This accident has been noted by the NTSB as being very similar to 1979 crash of an American Airlines DC-10 which also had a pylon failure due to improper maintenance. But it is unclear if maintenance is also suspected in this event as it is noted the aircraft had been in compliance with the last pylon inspection in October 2021 and the pylon being lubricated in October 2025.

Due to their age this grounding will likely be the final nail in the coffin for commercial tri-jet aircraft.

A body cam footage channel has obtained footage of Alex Dacy's father, John Dzimitowicz, getting arrested. In his conversation with officers, he confirmed-- among other things-- that his daughter is an alcoholic who pees in her wheelchair. This legal matter is entirely separate from Alex's recent no contest plea regarding inappropriate actions with a minor.

It's official: X is now rolling out the account location feature for all users. As of now people can currently see only their own info, this is soon to change in the immediate future. The feature seems to also be able to detect if the user is using a VPN.

In internet culture news, the BBC has put out an article (titled "The words you can't say on the internet") about what it terms as "algospeak" - that's right gamers, when you're watching a deathfat dancing around wording and saying things like "unalive" instead of suicide/death or use retarded emojis like they're a spastic "seasoning" their iPhone with their fat fingers (🍆🍆🍆) it turns out that there is a whole subsculture surrounding this.

YouTube gives a statement saying that it doesn't demonetize large swaths of online content simply because the creator blurted out a no-no word (such as nigger) and we're all just imagining things - and the name of YouTube's spokesperson is a comedy of its own:

Of course this doesn't match up with the reality of the internet today where users are forbidden from saying certain words by the powers that be - perhaps this is all just a conspiracy, but in reality there really is a list of no-no words that users must avoid and in this space they must resort to euphemisms or autistic emoji mashing to get their point across (I personally have sometimes had to resort to saying "second to last" instead of penultimate in my own battle with big tech :null:).

I regret to inform you all that the great internet past time of being a deatfat on YouTube is at peril and on top of this, there is a much graver threat to humanity - YouTube also seems to be outlawing people reacting to these deathfat people.

Without the large amount of interest that restreamers bring (they commonly get thousands of live viewers) to these much hated fat women it is possible that we may be seeing the last remnants of the YouTube deathfat cottage industry at large.
