A new mystery is currently developing around Highguard AKA Concord 2.0 as the game's official website has been down for at least 3 hours, with an official notice rather than a generic 404 page suggesting it's not accidental.
Highguard Site Down.png
Join the Highguard thread to speculate with your fellow Hightards if the game is already getting sunsetted or have the devs decided updating their website is more important than their dying game.

UPDATE: The company responsible for building the website (because it was outsourced like seemingly everything else on the project) has posted to X claiming they can't say what's going on, and to go bug the developer instead.

FINAL UPDATE: Devs have finally given a response via Discord. Apparently the site is in the process of being 'transferred and simplified', whatever that means. The same dev, who is definitely not remotely salty, clarified that restoring the website is a low priority due to the 'reputational damage already [being] done'.

The website remains down as of final edit.

Russell Greer's finances for this year have been revealed. He makes $2000 a month, and spends $2100 a month. Come marvel at this financial genius!

Internationally renowned male sexual icon, white DSP (Phil Burnell) is once again doing the rounds as jealous inferior beta Bois on the internet are MATI at him over something.

That something = buying the new Nintendo Virtual Boy attachment for the Switch 2 that fits over the console and lets someone play shitty VB games BUT it cannot connect to HDMI and therefore cannot be streamed.

This didn't stop Phil from his holy quest to make khantent because he just streamed himself playing and telling the audience what it was like for a few hours (to be clear viewers could not see any actual gameplay and could only see Phil using the virtual boy)

He is so famous that just him doing this is being covered widely on livestreamfails as well as the xitty

The India Menace thread has been rewritten. This is one of the few Autism Thunderdome threads to be rewritten.

The India Menace thread was originally created by @Climaxing Sunset on November 1st, 2023 in the Deep Thoughts board (which more serious discussion happens). Back in December 2025, @The Noise wanted to rewrite The India Menace thread and submitted a request in Talk to Staff which was accepted. @Relinquish would also suggest it as well, adding @Waffle Iron, @llllIllIllIIIIllI, and @WE'RE ALL GONNA as a suggestion.

After working on the OP, the final draft was published by @Waffle Iron and was agreed on by the members. It is now the OP which you can read here:

Comedian and Internet Talk Show host Adam Friedland has uploaded his lastest episode of "The Adam Friedland Show" with his guest being Clavicular.
As a bit of a hook to those intestested, the cold open is Clavicular discussing how you can misuse student loans to pay for cosmetic surgeries, with very little consequences.

Discuss the necessity of his Romanian handler here in Clavicular's Thread.
Continue to reminisce about the funniest left-leaning podcast here.

Two recent happenings in manga/comic internet

Last November, the owner and proprietor of Bato.to, MangaPark and 60 or so domains was raided and detained by Chinese authorities. He's since been released on bail and is mega fucked.

The case against him was brought on by a Japanese copyright protection group at the behest of five major manga publishers, with support from Tencent of China. Separately, a South Korean company, Kakao Entertainment's anti-piracy branch actively targeted anyone they could find in associated communities with cease and desist letters (discord and reddit mods, for example).

It's estimated the proprietor was making close to $60k USD during a peak month from the advertisements, with total user visit of around 350 million in May 2025.

Going off my memory from 10 years ago:
  • MangaPark started up in the early 2010s, possibly before the Kiwi Farms. It was widely regarded as the largest and most reliable source of free official and unofficial English-translated comics from Japan, South Korea and China.
  • Bato.to was a hub for scanlators (scanning + (fan-)translators) from the early 2010s. Unlike other piracy sites at the time, Bato.to wouldn't compromise on storage space by compressing images, and it returned some advert revenue to scanlators. The site would comply with DMCAs for licensed works, keeping it in a legally favourable position at a cost. The site closed in 2018 (owner burnout), but seemed to have been reopened shortly after (presumably under new ownership).

><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><>

MangaDex is a successor to the original Bato.to that rose from the ashes of Bato.to's closure in 2018 and has served as a hub for scanlators ever since.

Recently, the proprietor has decided to manually purge the site of explicit comics that depict children.

Gamer Gate denizens most affected.

General discussion thread

In an absolute train wreck of a hearing, SmashJT (Jeff Tarzia) and his idiot lawyer Ron Coleman hand Alyssa Mercante a win on a silver platter.
As with many recent lolsuits involving lolcows, it involves the misuse of AI and premature gloating.

There's a weird/interesting battle going on over the legacy of Scott Adams - the Dilbert creator who passed away last month.

After his death, Scott's social media accounts were taken over by a small group of orbiters (who seem to be connected to Scott's ex-wife?). They've been posting on his accounts and publishing a talk show called "The Scott Adams School" on his Youtube channel. The show is apparently very unpopular among Scott's old audience.

Anyway, an anonymous person has been making "AI Scott Adams" videos (featuring an AI persona of Scott) separately from all this, and these videos have been relatively more popular & warmly received by the old audience. The "Scott Adams School" people seem very angry/jealous, and they've been dramatically slapfighting with randos on Twitter while threatening to pursue legal action against the creator of "AI Scott Adams".

There's been a big debate over what the real Scott Adams would have wanted. He was fascinated by AI and previously stated that he would love to have an AI recreation of himself continue his work after death - viewing it as a path to "immortality". However, the "Scott Adams School" people — claiming to speak on behalf of Scott's family & estate (it's unclear how true this actually is) — say he changed his mind shortly before he died. They claim that he wouldn't have wanted an AI recreation that wasn't officially endorsed by his family/estate.

My description isn't doing this justice, so I recommend reading about it for yourselves. Start here: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/scott-...-coffee-with-scott-adams.123740/post-23670218

Valve Software has won in their lawsuit against notorious patent troll Leigh Rothschild and have been awarded ~$152000. Leigh Rothchild has previously filed over a 1000 patent lawsuits, almost always leading to out of court settlements to avoid legal fees and the general pain in the ass. Valve took him all the way to a jury trial in which Rothschild's lawyers submitted AI written filings citing nonexistent court cases and the jury found that Rothchild had broken Washington state's Patent Troll Prevention Act
Come praise gaben and discuss what should happen to patent trolls.

In a blow to Lolicons everywhere, a Reddit sub dedicated to sexualizing a small childlike android character in the upcoming video game Pragmata has been banned.

The issue is so prevalent on the platform that the Pragmata community on Reddit has splintered into three distinct subreddits: r/Pragmata, the main subreddit, r/PragmataSFW, a self-described “attempt at building up a sub that isn’t plastered with pedophile dogwhistles,” and r/Pragmata_, which was just banned on February 18 for breaking Reddit’s “Rule 4.” For context, Rule 4 explicitly forbids the “sharing of sexual, abusive, or suggestive content involving minors.”

The US government is setting up an anti-censorship website specifically to piss off European censors.
