I'm new here, but I cannot locate any thread where it's been found out just what type of job Chris did as part of his court-ordered community service.

Or, did his Autism Card exempt him from that as well?

Chris donated a vial of his blood to cure the world of homosexuality. What more can he do for the community?

Yeah, he more or less dodged that.

Oh well. It was still worth asking. It would have been interesting to see what sort of job he'd be assigned to (and when I mean assigned to, I mean what job he'd be a huge whiny pita that could put him at risk of probation violation)?

Chris dodged a hell of a bullet in court that day, but I'm sure Chris still views it as a tragedy of Justice because they didn't sentence Snyder to the gas chamber.

in 99% of cases, "Community service" really just means "Go pick up trash somewhere"

Whatever Chris had to do-service and/or psych eval-it seems pretty clear it was a one-day, in-out deal that didn't tax him in the least.

Barb, with still another year to go, may have a different arrangement, but good luck disciplining an elderly, lonely widow.

I'm pretty sure Chris didn't do any community service. He did have some sort of psych eval though.

Any chance the evaluation called for some new autism papers?

As in an evaluation external to the court ordered one? I doubt it. The evaluation itself might be floating around somewhere, though, if someone's interested in finding it.

I think a psych evaluation is kept strictly under doctor-patient confidentiality, but a general report is given to the court. I'm sure the general report read along the lines of "YIKES!".

If there is a copy out there, it's likely kept under lock & key by Barb, possibly in Bob's file cabinet.

That's what I had to do for mine. And shovel snow off a walkway.

I had to chaperone a few middle school dances.

It really wasn't too bad as a punishment since it was pretty much making sure nobody got pregnant.

Now that I think of it, it was rather odd that they had criminals running the dances...

Seems like they would be more willing to buy alcohol for the kids if slipped a couple of Hamiltons.

Bord was sentenced to community service as well wasn't she? I guess he might have gotten away from that too given that she's a seinor citizen but really then what did the court do to punish them? Maybe justice wasn't passed down at all because Chris and Barbs got off completely Scott free as far as I can tell.

barb's doing the community a service by hoarding him inside.

I thought they worked at the church, because churches are usually approved for community service. I assume Rocky would be the one to sign off on stuff.

On the old forum we thought Rocky just let Chris play his DS in the corner. If that happened, Rocky was the one who really did community service for babysitting Chris.

While I know it's confidential, and matters only to the court (who is basically just seeing if Chris's next move is to come back to city hall and start shooting) but I just can't imagine even the most jaded doctor not saying "Watch this fuck, he ain't right." It's a problem with the American court and mental health system that this can't be seen as a warning sign for intervention on Chris's behalf.

They got probation. That seems to be the entirety of their punishment.

It wasn't even that. They actually managed to dodged community service entirely.

Yep it's true but if anyone thinks that they managed to get away with no punishment just remember their living, social, and financial conditions. :asperchu:

But Snyder wasn't dragged off in chains, the Game Place wasn't ordered burned to the ground, and Ruckersville didn't give Chris a ticker-tape parade and a key to the city in apology, so therefore, it was a complete and utter miscarriage of Justice against all good and honest persons who are seeking love in Virginia.

Hmmmh!

True that. Being sentenced to live out their days as a Chandler at 14BLC is a horror in itself.
