In a nutshell, I am buying an abandoned village in rural Spain or Portugal (North P, Galicia), in a mountainous area, around 5-10ha of hand (35-70 acres), with the intent to either build a completely off-grid'able community or selling out to airbnb (whatever comes first). Source of income, ideally if not airbnb, would be mining btc using solar+hydro+pumped storage hydropower -- hence the choice of terrain and area. Secondary would be energy arbitrage, but then need to connect to the grid. Fiber is a must and will be available.

I'm thinking spain or portugal because land is cheap, there...
