Connor's Official Juno Ending Debate Thread

Well, Connor actually explained way better in chat of what his thoughts on adoption are.

I haven't seen the movie recently because I saw it enough times back in 2007 when it was a Big Fucking Deal, but I don't remember it saying anything about Vanessa's career plans after she adopts the baby at all. It seems kind of weird to assume that she's going to completely ignore a child when being a mother is what she wants most in life.

And it seems downright offensive to assume that a child growing up with an adoptive mother, even an adoptive single mother with a busy career, is automatically going to grow up to be a mass murderer. There are plenty of people who are raised by abusive parents (biological and adopted), myself included, who manage to get through life without opening fire on a maternity ward.

Here's my thoughts on what would happen. Jupiter, under all circumstances, grew up to have serious issues. His adoptive parents enacted in bizarre scenarios, his stepbrother became a marine who would tell him all sorts of awesome stories from the battlefield, and his other stepbrother became too fascinated with Sonic, Legos, Pokemon, and trains for his own good. To escape this endless torment, Jupiter went to the internet. You may have known him better as Dollars2009, before Compy deemed the name too awesome to use and appropriated it for himself. Now you may better know him as Peppy.

Considering that, here is one version: The baby turns out to a creepy looking horse with a creepy looking smile. Then some dude with sunglasses and a trenchcoat comes in and blows up the evil horse baby, saying "I regret nothing". Then Sonichu comes in and it's corgi's for everyone.

In my version of the film, Juno, her baby, and Michael Sera's character are kidnapped by Dickgirl Molly Ringwald who sews them into a human centipede with the newborn baby in the middle, before slowly flaying all three to death over several weeks. All of which is demonstrably a kinder fate than adoption

Well the catholic church may have been burying of thousands of child corpses in septic tanks and silencing those little whores who seduced innocent priests into raping them at the time.....but even they are not so evil as to allow adoption to occur.

You would also have to replace the background music with something by The Moldy Peaches. Her reaction would also be kinda like if you had punched a Slowpoke.
