His Lord/Lady Foppington character* is perhaps the truest thing to his actual reality -- Nyk is pretty much just a modern day dandy, with all of the pseudo-intellectuality and class-climbing aspirations that entailed. It's just that the fop's powdered wigs and makeup haven't been in style for men for centuries, so instead modern fops are confused transtrenders and use overtly feminine clothing and makeup styles.





*Nyk's not even clever in terms of creating a stock character; "Lord Foppington" is literally the name of an existing caricature from a 1696 novella called The Relapse by John Vanbrugh.

I just roll my eyes so fucking hard at all of Nyk's syncophants who claim that anything he's done is at all unique or even transgressive -- Nyk has basically *never* had an original idea, as is painfully obvious with his Youtube trend-hopping career. He not only rips off his channel's focus on topics that were previously established by better and more established channels, but even his aesthetics and characters are nothing more than amateurish riffs and caricatures of previous media. Everything in his life is nothing more than a cheap simulacrum, from his videos' Nicolas Winding Refn aesthetics, to his department-store drag character impressions of Lady Gaga (who herself is basically a never-ending ripoff of previous art-house models and artists). Even his personal visage is a caricature: the fucking facial feminization surgery he had done is a pathetic scrabbling attempt to look like his actress idol Natalie Portman.

It's no wonder he couldn't finish his graduate degree, as doing so requires at least some amount of effort in generating original thoughts via the final thesis or dissertation. It's just so pathetic that Bread Tube and leftist circles have elevated this middle class nobody with nothing original to say as their Queen and Savior, when there are far more intelligent and interesting voices out there to choose from.

In my honest opinion, the only good thing that's come out of Baltimore in the recent few decades is Beach House.
