I like learning new words. If you have fun new words or have some cool words you want to share with others, post them in this thread.

Here's one I learned recently:
Supercilious - behaving or looking as though one thinks one is superior to others.

Scumbag is a word I've known for a long time but only within the last decade learned that it meant "condom". Literally a bag of (s)cum.
 
Scringly is a word I use a lot, I have no idea if it's real or what it means but it's fun to say.

Invidious (hateful) - News articles portray the farms as invidious, when really they are just derisive.

I also like augury (divination, interpretation of signs and omens).

I like the work "harangue."
"I delivered a harangue against the perfidious infidels that threaten the site, to an audience of my fellow Kiwis."

It means to make a fiery and bombastic speech or lecture, usually with intent to lambaste a particular individual, object, or idea. Like a tirade but with slightly more decorum implied.

It is used as both a noun and a verb.

2: something having usually diverse layers or aspects apparent beneath the surface

His opening post was a palimpsest: it had been edited so much, yet you can still see trace remains of the original op.

Neoginas do not pass for they are palimpsest and have tell tale signs of being such
