How did you first come across Clem? For me I used to watch his electronics videos years ago, then I discovered Chris Chan and this place.

Years ago I was in a synctube back when this place was still the CWCki forums and someone added the infamous "Xmas Pressies" video.
I found him fascinating because he seemed like a 12-year-old boy stuck in a man's body and he's pretty toned down in comparison to the mostly American lolcows on here.

I wish he'd get some more exercise. He's really put on some weight since I started following him. All in the gut, too. I like the grey streaks though; his hair almost looks silver fox stylish.

Yeah, that's to be expected if you have a sedadtive lifestyle and consume plenty of fizzy drinks and Susan's cooking. (I bet she's a good cook)

He used to do a lot of vlogs where he'd do some urban exploring, dumpster diving, trips to the op shop. And of course hiding from random npc's. Is it that Star Kids has consumed his life or is he just in a pit of despair, too depressed to leave the house?

Not saying kiwifarms is a bad influence but I certainly started enjoying Clem in a different light after this thread started.

This post may be close to revealing my power level but I'm just genuinely curious as to how some of you found him, I can't be the only one who found him through his electronics videos.

I, too, find some of Clement's electronics experiments unironically enjoyable and relevant to my interests.

I agree, he's not a disgusting sex pest like Chris Chan that's for sure. I think he just needs a strong male rolemodel to break him out of his shell, Susan has likely done her best but some things need a different perspective.

I think his autism may explain this, the project has become an obsession and he likely thinks about it nonstop. Like a one man production company getting a product to market.

Oh yeah, you can definitely learn a thing or two from his electronics videos. Did you ever go through a high voltage experiment phase like Clem?

I found him years ago in the early days of youtube, but he wasn't much of a lolcow back then, and I didn't really pay much attention to him. I found him through a guy on youtube called CassetteMaster, who was MUCH worse than Clem. He's also into electronics and some of his videos were interesting if you were into that sort of thing, but he would also say and do some things on camera that would make you feel embarrassed for him. He's not that active anymore but I think his channel still exists.

If this works, I'll have a way of using more of my cameras in my YouTube Live-Streams. So in this video I do an UN-boxing and run some tests. Even though the picture is 4:3, it's not going to matter too much because I plan the picture at one side of the screen and put live chat in the space not taken up by the picture.

I found him years ago in the early days of youtube, but he wasn't much of a lolcow back then, and I didn't really pay much attention to him. Clem seems to get through PC hardware like Chris gets through sweethearts, his shed must be full of trashed monitors and hardware he's been given by viewers over the years.

He comes here every now and then with a new sock account, posts absolute garbage on the same few users profiles like he's super offending us or some shit without realising he's giving himself away immediately (if he isn't just rating posts mocking him autistic or dumb), then he gets banned, repeat this about 10 times or so before the dumbfuck gives in for a little while longer.

Sammy has gone dark for months now.
He deleted all of the newer videos from his main channel and hasn't been seen since (he tended to comment on Clements videos with fairly obvious socks but so far nothing).
He posted some sort of Buzzfeed quiz on his public FB wall but took it down after it was posted in his thread and I haven't found any of his new yt channels (if he has any, I haven't really looked into it).
It seems he followed the advice given to lolcows here and just stopped posting stuff connected to his identity, good on him.

It could happen, it was stupid of me to ever think of stopping it. Anyway, I thought I'd do a little experiment with the worlds cheapest phono cartridge and see how it sounds when put through a buffer circuit, one made with valves and the other made with j-fets. Also I'm still hard at work on The StarKidz episode 4 so that's also coming soon. Note: YouTube is ridiculous, I haven't even PUBLISHED this yet and I already have a copyright claim! I thought the songs I used would be safe to spin but obviously not. So sorry to any of my Japanese viewers but stupid WMG blocked the video there, I can't do anything about it.

Since I now have all the voice clips for episode 4 I thought I'd put the voice track together and see how it turns out. I decided to do it a little different by recording all the voice clips on to reel to reel in the right order (it's just a lot easier that way) and then playing that back into the computer and adding sound FX with audacity. For the most part the audio is complete, there's still a little tweaking to some of the sound FX to do and I still need to add ambient sound FX and music but that will be done when I put the completed video together. I'm about halfway done with the animation right now so it should be finished within a month or two. Well, I thought I would venture into the world of Linux again. In this video I try and boot it from a SD card instead of a USB thumb drive, mainly because I have lost all but one of my USB drives, and nowhere around here sells blank DVDs anymore. The only USB drive I could find only has 1GB capacity, witch is just not enough, so attempting do do this from an SD card it is. In the next video I will see if I can install from the SD card. What I want to eventually do is ditch Windows and do everything in Linux ... IF (and that's a big IF) I can get certain things working on it.

Anyway, if one day I switch to Linux (and that's still a big IF), one thing I need to find out is if my Touchscreen Monitor and my Scanner can be used. So that's what I do here. Also I apologize for the bad quality, I only had my crappy camera available to film this, my good camera was being used AS something else ... you'll see what I mean. Also this is my very first video edited on Linux! I used Kdenlive since that seems to be everyone's top choice for editing video on Linux, but you need to understand I probably had the settings all wrong as I've never used Kdenlive before, I wasn't sure of what I was doing and things won't be as polished as my regular videos because like I said, I'm new to it..

COOL DUDE CLEM'S ELECTRONIC WORKSHOP IS BACK! Anyway, I thought it was about time to have a bit of a change in my computer's audio setup. So I decided I'd change the amplifier, but since I might switch to Linux one day, there's one Windows 7 feature I will sorely miss and that's the Loudness Equalization, so what I wanted to do is try to add that into an amplifier by modifying one of my old circuits and putting that in. This video was in fact edited in Linux on kdenlive, I really wanted to make this 50fps, but unless I render as progressive, the motion keeps going all wonky, sometimes it's fine with a good smooth 50 fps, other times everything shakes as it moves, so 25fps it has to be. I will never, never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER EVER forgive myself for ending the workshop several months ago. It was stupid of me to do so and I am sorry. But not to worry, it's back now and I'm not planning on ending it again any time soon.

I'm sorry but I have to say that I'm sticking with Windows even though I hate Microsoft. Unfortunately for my needs Windows is the best that's available. Don't get me wrong though I DON'T HATE LINUX, some things I found were actually better on Linux than they were on Windows. I was seriously thinking about making the switch but at the end of the day I'm happier with Windows despite the BS of Microsoft and Windows , it's what I know, all my software works and I don't have to spend hours on Google looking up how to do something. There's that and the fact I couldn't install Adobe premiere on it which is my main video editor.
