Imagine, if you will, a group of witch-doctors writing a manifesto that states that science base medicine is not a way for a better society. Demanding the expansion of a "doctor" definition and abolishing any ethics and knowledge rules so not to prevent people from getting open hearth surgeries from a crystal healers.

Measurable outcomes (people not dying, people getting better) should not be collected to not skill-shame.

I just don't understand this world anymore. Any such document should be a source of a mockery and belly laughter directed for the authors and people who signed it.

Coraline Ada is back in the spotlight again, thanks to a /pol/ thread on 8chan about his history as a satantic priest. The thread started with OP being banned from freedesktop.org and quickly turned into digging up some crazy info on him thanks to his deadname. Not long after he got an article on Robert Stacey McCain's blog mocking his past as a satanic priest and mentioning his code of conduct drama and thanks to his Google Alerts setup he started gloating about this article.

Tbf, being a satanist is a step down in crazy compared to being a tranny.

At least satanists aren't mangling their genitals as severely. All satanists get is vd from banging other poly satanists they met on fetlife.

Oh, do fuck off with your 'you must be as angry as I am about the same things I am all the time! If you're not you're a cishet white scum shitlord!' I despise this mindset, this empathy-free view of everything being valid only if it's from her perspective, that she's the only one thinking clearly and correctly. Also that for a programmer, her 'mentoring' minorities is more important than actual programming.

It's no surprise, the narcissism. But people like her never seem to realise how much of the pushback they receive isn't from evil men and their evil ... *checks paper* dad jokes, but because she's being entirely unreasonable in demanding that everyone else feel how she feels.

Those tweets should be used as the first point of evidence as for why her rules of conduct should be immediately stricken down from everywhere that uses them.

So it looks like our buddy Cory is trying to latch himself to controversy again.

lerna is an open source project that has been in the news in recent days due to the one of the developers trying to change the licences so that it couldn't be used by ICE or companies that subcontract to ICE. You can read all about it here, but it's a classic case of some nutty dev trying to push a political agenda and getting thwarted.

Anyway, Cory jumped in while the iron was hot to push a Code of Conduct change, because of course he did.
