Dramacow Coraline Ada Ehmke / Corey Dale Ehmke - tl;dr Rules for thee but not for me

Ruby is god awful slow, and if metasploit wasn't written in Ruby we could be done with it forever. I can't even imagine anyone writing a PHP backend in [CURRENT YEAR], so I wasn't even considering it.

Join me on the Golang bandwagon.

golang has some neat ideas and i love the ops tooling coming out of the go ecosystem but i just don't like the way it looks or feels. call me a fag but ruby is much faster today than it used to be and if you're building something where latency matters you shouldn't be considering any of the higher level languages. c++, erlang, maybe rust or go depending on what it's doing.

We should have a thread for this trend.

So the iconic Apollo 11 code base was put up on on github. Cue Cory's self promoting to somehow attach his name to it.

I'm just glad that he and his cronie are being neg-reacted into the dirt for it. The owners of the repo might still cave, of course, but then Corey would be exposed to a much greater number of hostile software developers. I don't think he can handle that much pressure.

KF's outage has caused many cows to come out of the woodwork so that they can shout "Die Null, die!".

What I relish most about the (usually brief) KF outages is the deep disappointment and frustration these shitheads all feel when it comes back up and carries on like nothing happened.

Suck it, tranny. No grave dancing for you today.

Years from now, when the tech industry finally recovers from bottoming out due to mass-hiring unqualified speds who don't actually contribute in any actual fashion, Coraline will be remembered as one of the people who helped kneecap the industry for a generation or more. Corey can try to slice it in any fashion: At the end of the day, Corey will be remembered as the loudest voice for doing away with meritocracy and giving authority to people who by all accounts, should never have been given it in the first place.

This creep will not just kneecap the industry, but encourage massive outsourcing in tech. Women and minorities will lose jobs entirely, as will everyone else in western countries who specializes in tech and software dev. Why get crazy trannies and grifters to tank your company when you can just hire Chinese or Indian guys who know how to do the work and don't need as much pay?

(Also why do fat, middle-aged men try to look like cyberpunk chicks? AGP is a hell of a drug)

Edit: found a quote I was thinking of from the Post-Meritocracy Manifesto. I wonder if this will apply to inevitable outsourcing?

You used to have the issue that you'd end up with pajeet code as a result and if it wasn't from being only minimally competent, it was from obfuscating it so you'd have to keep paying them to maintain it.

But now if the choice is cheap pajeet code that sort of works or horribly expensive troon code that doesn't work plus you get sued for nothing, the pajeet code starts to look like even more of a bargain than it was.

Our retarded friend wants your OpenCV-based video doorbell not report underprivileged people stealing your shit.

Note how it's perfectly fine to make software for weapons that kill Europeans.
Also, is this completely legally retarded? Surely you can't declare that GIMP may not be used to draw Pepe, for one?

I doubt it's enforceable, that looks too vague. There may also be some issues with the fact that that doesn't exactly work well with a lot of other licenses.
I think she can kiss compatibility with the GPL goodbye too.

It's almost like these degenerate corporate tools are trying to make open source licensing such a toxic mess of uncertainty and doubt that people will choose corporate closed source software just to have certainty in what they're staking their business on, software that won't be yanked out from under them if some mentally ill man in a dress starts screeching and shrieking about girl penis, angry about something nobody understands.
