I literally have no idea what the fuck this means. The woke scolds will fuck us up if we assume gender, right? We're not supposed to consider our impressions about gender because a man with a dick can totally be a woman without any outward signs of traditional feminine presentation, and man with a dick can also totally be a man or non-binary or whatever else there is. I'm terrible at learning even just names, though I remember faces/appearance easily. Pronouns are an extra degree of difficulty to learn. so I guess I'm a terrible person for having a common mental quirk. Isn't that, a lil... y'know... ableist, J?

No—you also have to alter your entire perception of reality in accordance with the gender cult's dogmas, because they say so. To become a Good Person, you must acknowledge the cult's intellectual and moral authority, subordinate yourself to it, and re-educate yourself, through that "important internal work," to wholeheartedly embrace the correct view of reality. I assume it means that they know that some cis people are just "playing along' with pronouns, but in their hearts they aren't true believers. So, being polite and using someone's pronouns isn't enough anymore. Because, there always has to be a struggle for them. That's what they get off on. Raging against the norm. If society makes this normal, what the fuck would they do? They'd cease to have a reason to exist. So, cis people have acquiesced to the first demand. Time to move on to another one. And another one. I may just be overly sensitive. Excuse my powerlevel, but I think this is relevant. My employer just sent out a notification that all employees are required to participate in a mandatory "sensitivity training" about the importance of using preferred pronouns. I honestly find it unconscionable that a hospital system would not merely encourage, but outright require its physicians and other employees to indulge patients with mental illness and delusional beliefs. There are ways to be sensitive to this population without pretending that their beliefs are reasonable or rooted in reality.

You got a nice long reprive on that. I was given that over a year ago yet the populations I work with are mainly all under guardianship or conservatorships due to their mental illness/physical disabilities. I'm quite glad I havent had to deal with anyone deciding there non-verbal extremely low functioning tween is the wrong gender.

It’s things like this that make me grateful to work in construction, where nobody gives a single fuck about pronouns. We do have a major client that is MtF. My boss had to warn everyone in advance when we started working with them, due to the very real possibility that one of my coworkers might make comments that could jeapordize our relationship with that company

Which is utter lunacy. Not only that, but bitch was just giving me popcorn. Her pronouns were totally irrelevant in this exchange. But no. I have to know them before I even know her name.

If she’s claiming to be all 3 of those wouldn’t it essentially be impossible to “misgender” her? Only if you used something like Xe / Xir could you be “wrong” at that point.
