The amount of retards i see with $1000 inventories in high silver - low nova comp is too damn high.
It's just a skin, who cares.

Glad the crash happened, will be interesting to see what happens to the player numbers once all the "investors" leave and the bots are shutdown.

Meh, I had a kara doppler I bought in 2015 for $200 go from $1700 to $1200.
A $500 hit but still worth something.
The vanilla Nomad knife I unboxed in 2021 went from $500-600 to $100-190. Ouch. Fuck you, Gabe. I was gonna sell that one for this year's Holiday self-indulgences, but now they're worth less than a pair of Nikes.

The Fed needs to contain this collapse before it causes a market contagion that destroys the world economy.
Fuck off with the "gouvernement me harder" cuck mentality, CS2 skins causing a IRL market moves would be so fucking based, how wouldn't you want this?

I’m glad it ended like this, the lengths people went in botting and hoarding these items has always been insane.
I recall a decade ago I got lucky and got gloves the first month they were introduced, all I did was dance, immediately sell it for 115 dollars and bought a bunch of payday 2 DLC. I proceeded to go back to not caring about crates.
How do you explain this to anyone in your life? That your road to your 401K is stockpiling digital video game skins you don’t physically own?

As for the Chinese suicides, I’m not even that surprised, there’s a lot of disturbing youth trends going on over there.
The worst part is they took a 30% from the digital sale which is insane

suffah hoarders

Oh, that explains the memes. I'm suddenly glad I never got into CS beyond Source.

I don't like how it went down and I definitely don't like the suicides, but something like this was inevitably going to happen. It wasn't sustainable for people to treat skins like an actual form of investment when Valve doesn't consider them an investment, doesn't give a shit about you or your items, and can ban you or remove them at any time.

It is pretty funny to laugh at the retards who lost all of their "money" because of this but I also hope people start (or continue!) asking, "Why the fuck is Valve allowed to delete or change stuff people paid for after the sale was already made?"

Also inb4 pirate software has some retarded position about this

The game itself is (relatively) fine. If you didn't have any skins in your inventory you weren't really affected by this patch.

It's pretty funny to see all those wiggers with expensive knives, supremes, nikes, yeezys etc getting fucked over. They spend hundreds or thousands of dollars just to flex on people and now the people are flexing on them, and for free. Right now they're probably listening to nigga rap on full volume while sulking with their shattered ego.

key prices in TF2 dropped as well, i'm pretty sure people are trying to off load their TF2 valuables so they can hoard red CS weapons while it's still lucrative.

i never got into CS skin trading (tried CS:GO once but instantly went back to muh CS:S zombie escape maps) but i've spent an ungodly amount of time merchanting hats and unusuals around 2010-2012 and i would be pretty peeved if i spent all that time loitering around on trade servers like an absolute autist with nothing to show for it.
I don't really understand how an infinite commodity (you can buy tf2 keys in mann co store in the game) can dip so low. Are the keys bought on the steam market tradeable immediately instead of the week long waiting after buying it in the shop?

lmao, I buy weapon skins for pennies. If you spend more than 5 bucks on a digital cosmetic that is not real, you are retarded.

Basic TF2 keys have very little practical use as every newly released crate for maybe a decade has required a special seasonal key to open. I'm assuming the sudden drop was due to CS traders thinking they can hoard them and sell at a profit when a newly released crate actually needs them again (or they got tricked into accepting the useless keys no one wants). Then this panic happened where everyone started mass selling their items.

Another Anomaly video. He's like the only CStuber I've ever occasionally watched before outside of maybe like, TheWarOwl.

Autistics with low impulse control who buy shit like this are just not made to last in todays world. Beautiful to see and hopefully the momentum doesn't stop until every one of these retards dies.

Makes sense, a massive dump in the market of keys that have no use because valve hasn't released a regular mann co crate since let me see...

Oh wow.

How have these niggers learned nothing from the TF2 crate depression of 2019
Good times, that one was arguably funnier than this occasion because Reddit mods were telling people not to partake in the glitch because Valve would surely delete the hats if not outright ban anyone who used the exploit, alongside speculating that Valve would reward them for being good boyswith another “cheaters lament” hat, only for that not to happen at all, leaving a lot of gullible redditors with nothing to do but gnash their teeth at the jannies. Participating on those /v/ threads late at night during the exploit’s discovery alongside the ensuing mockery of the aforementioned Reddit retardation was a wonderful occasion.
