After CS2 launched, high ranks turned from actual strategy to throw a smoke and spam common sight lines.

Why include a feature like this in such a casual game?
Its a competitive game.

Why glaze Valve so hard?
Glazing is when you DON'T send death threats to Valve because of changes immediately and try out the game to learn that it doesn't effect much and just makes high rank comp funner and know that the people who work on changing this doesn't work on anticheats or maps. You are retarded.

>Ammunition management returns
>Mag system isn't just a UI change: you can literally drop entire mags of ammunition on the ground
>Your dumbass character can't pick them up

Is this a metaphor for CS:GO/CS2 dipshits wasting cash on these games? That's hilarious

It's basically a case where instead of paying for a key you open it for free and then optionally purchase one of the skins shown to you inside the terminal for a set price. After purchasing a skin or declining all the offers (or leaving it open without deciding for long enough) the terminal will be consumed.

Also you should learn how to use google lol
It seems retarded if there’s no discount compared to FMV.
I like this idea.

But why? Why include a feature like this in such a casual game?
It's a bit baffling that they didn't make this change exclusive to the Competitive / Premier modes and leave Casual with the normal ammo system since it already doesn't have friendly fire and collision to emphasize the namesake among other differences. I've yet to test it, but I can completely understand Casual players being irritated with this.

New weapon spreadsheet details can be found here (Google Docs). With AWP, semi-auto sniper rifles, M4A1, and few others only limited to just 2 mag ammunition, the kill reward seems changed for shotguns? I don't remember killing enemies with shotguns except XM1014 gives an easy $900 kill reward.
Do you believe the person working on gameplay changes in a game are the same people working on an anticheat?
That would be very dumb if it's true.
"MUH VALVE 3D MODELER NEEDS TO WORK ON MUH VAC LIVE."

CALL VALVE LAZY ONE MORE TIME! (this is a half joke)

People have been seeing a Vac ban tracker going nuts today.

(this only tracks bans from comp and premiere, not deathmatch or arms race.)

A Valve employee responded on reddit that they have banned almost a million bots since yesterday.
Valve employees wiki page for verification since I highly doubt Valve would let a random Reddit account act as a Valve employee for 14 years.

i always sucked in Counter-Strike, I’ve never cared I always play it for a week then move on to something else.

Now I just had a night of 1:1 KD and last game I played was 2:1. Maybe the teams were just wildly unbalanced but holy shit the new scrubs or Counter-Strike must be the most retarded faggots who can’t aim for their lives.

CS is simply a game thats been always sink or swim. Put up your own effort and learn from your mistakes while practicing or give up and convert to unholy faggotry (FAGLORANT).

Also, Printstreams are seriously trash. 9/10, anyone using it is some form of femboy or tranny.

And nothing happened

people complaining about excessive realism in the ammo change
This wasn't even Valves intent, which is the funniest part about seeing these retards screech. They didnt want "muh realism" they wanted you to actually acknowledge that you don't need to reload every 5 bullets and spamming through smokes is fag shit.

And nothing happened
What did you expect, a month long banning spree?

Yeah I like the change. It gives me an excuses to shoot through the smoke when I only have 5 bullets left in my magazine.

I expected this update to be useless because, at least to me, CSGO players have always stressed quality over quantitity in fire except in particular situations. However, when talking to a friend of mine that kept playing CS after it became CS2, their change in sever infrastructure turned the meta upside down to volume of fire over quality of fire, which does make this update make sense.
Just caught me off guard when I distinctly remember how my friends hazed me because I didnt crouch and tap fire, and didn't learn patterns and conserve bullets as opposed to now where people spray and pray more.

New beta branch adds in animgraph 2 to all third person animations. From a small portion of testing in deathmatch with bots it seems like the game is more fluid.

A huge change is fps. At the same spot in Dust2 I gain about 10% more fps (~330 to ~370) without bots, this is probably due to the source 2 version itself getting updated. I'll probably edit this later with more in depth FPS differences, since i'm wanting to check if deathmatch is still terrible.

Edit:
Did a deathmatch run with bots on both stable and beta builds, dust 2, normal settings, for a full 10 minute match.

Average FPS1% Lows0.1% LowsAverage Frame Time
Stable178.472.258.65.6ms
Beta206.1109.483.84.9ms

It does seem like the game uses more GPU and less CPU overall. Went from an average gpu usage of 73% to 78%. I would expect the performance difference to be minimally smaller in an actual game though, since bots kill cpu usage, which is why my gpu isnt going full throttle.

What's more important is animgraph2 itself. Apparently VAC Live isn't working properly (despite being an AI that observes millions of matches per month) because of the buggy animgraph the game shipped with. Meaning if it actually works, then VAC Live might work better, This is just some cope but lets see.

Animgraph isn't buggy, it just wasn't built with multiplayer in mind, meaning it took far longer than needed to send and receive information, becoming a bottleneck for subtick. I don't think this had much of a effect on VAC Live.

ANTI DOUBLE POST EDIT:

tried to go back to play a few matches of csgo only to find the game servers are flooded with fake botted servers. You do not hate russian niggers enough. You cant even blacklist them because the Steam server browser doesnt support it.
