Plagued COVID Conspiracy Theorists and other idiots - This is not a political thunderdome or gay slapfight thread.

Unlike preparing burgers, most people didn't have "undertaking arbitrary medical procedures" in their job description.
Most, but not all. Many many jobs and other parts of society require vaccination. Did you go to school? Did you go to University?

That's the most baffling part of this whole thing. We've been required vaccinations for decades, and almost all of us posting here almost certainly have been mandated vaccinated for a number of things. But MAGAfags say the vaccine Trump fast tracked is where they draw the line. That's cool, we've got an award and everything for those people, sadly it is awarded posthumously.

Yeah I'm vaccinated against everything including the coof, out of necessity. The difference is that the common mandatory vaccines against diseases like hepatitis are time tested and known to be safe and effective. Never before has a vaccine been developed and made mandatory for everyone to participate in any sort of public life within the span of 6 months.

Why are you dragging politics into this? Who gives a fuck who did it?
Zealous antivaxxers and zealous pro-vaxxers have one thing in common, and that is the tendency to downplay and deflect when it comes to the other side's concerns. All I did was point out how you were doing exactly that with your shitty inaccurate analogy.

Weird how according to the AMA the vaccine had been in development for a decade, but it was the pandemic that pushed it into overdrive and caused research teams all over the world to work together toward a common goal. I don't know who to trust, a medical association full of professionals, or a fag on an autistic bird site! Please help, my family is dying!

I guess I should've said "finished development" or "released" to make my point obvious enough for you to understand. Instead you're downplaying again. You argue like a redditor lol.

No, I just choose to take my medical advice from medical professionals, not fags online. You literally just moved the goal posts in your own argument rather than taking the moment, when faced with facts you clearly did not know, to say "Wow, that's interesting, perhaps I was misinformed."

That's the biggest issue here. You were wrong. That's ok. Changing your argument after finding out you're wrong is peak cow behaviour.

I'm sorry oh scientist. I'm an ESL faggot and I accidentally used the incorrect word when making a statement. Unheard of, I know. To make it extra clear for you I do not actually believe the vaccines were developed in 6 months, I never believed that and I didn't mean to state that I did. If you can accept this, then maybe you can finally address my argument that declaring a vaccine mandatory for everyone everywhere almost immediately after it is first released to the public is unprecedented and deserving of scrutiny.

Ad "medical advice": lol, lmao. You truly owned me with facts and logic there.

Why are you dragging politics into this? Who gives a fuck who did it?
Because two different sets of utter retards dragged politics into it. First you had Democrat retards yelling they wouldn't take the "Trump vaccine," then you had the other retards yelling they wouldn't take the "Biden vaccine," instead of just getting medical advice from actual doctors.

I don't think elderly people will ever get over the plexiglass and masks.

So now that the Covid-19 pandemic is essentially over, let's do a postmortem (no pun intended) on this shall we.

So I don't think it's invalid to question the validity of the Covid-19 vaccines because of their rushed nature (science is about asking questions and skepticism). But the dumb conspiracy theories revolving around vaccines in general are peak Darwin Award Nominees.

Vaccines have been a net positive for humanity and even for our animal counterparts. To prove the concept of vaccines being beneficial, vaccines eradicated Smallpox from the world (it's an extinct disease that is no longer found in the wild anymore and eradicating a human disease from the world is a major accomplishment), vaccines gave people a chance to be cured from diseases once thought to be a sure death sentence (like Rabies), and vaccines have given your beloved animal companions a chance to live longer if they were to encounter diseases that affects them.

I say that being an antivaxxer is a sure way to get a Darwin Award because if you choose not to get vaccinated from preventable diseases that can kill you then congratulations, you deserve to be removed from the gene pool over your own stupidity.

Look, I can understand why people were skeptical of the Covid-19 vaccines back when the pandemic was at its peak. But a bad habit that conspiracy theorists often make is mix genuine red pills with other nonsense.
