I still remember Alien City, that mod was really popular back then. I never installed it but I watched plenty of videos of it.GTA: Alien City. A really weird (and honestly impressive) total conversion mod that puts CJ on the alien planet Anderius to do ayy lmao things and shoot ayy lmaos, which features an entire storyline and world. It's as if a few russians who are into aliens and San Andreas snorted a shit ton of coke and went to work. It's really bizarre, especially with how much effort is put into it with custom animations and modeling work.
Does anybody still play Left 4 Dead 2? If you do, have you noticed how the Workshop is flooded with chinese gacha mods? They were more rampant before, but they still get uploaded every day and some of them still end up in the top page.
This is what today's front page looks like. Half of these mods are gacha/weeb crap, which for the record they're not well made either, as they're full of bugs and the quality is much to be desired.
And God forbid if you try searching for categories, because you'll be greeted with more of this crap:
Simply because these assholes have ticked every tag available so their mod could appear in every page. And the Workshop jannies, if there are any, are doing nothing to combat this problem.
I don't get why L4D2 out of all games is full of this type of mods. I'd get it if these were for Garry's Mod or some sort of chink game, but why on a cooperative zombie game from 2009?
Is this game really popular in China or something?
So much for Winnie the Pooh banning Steam in China.
