Also, if I remember, there was one comic that proved that God was the faceless Slenderman. Yes, Slenderman is God!

I believe there are multiple appearances of Slendergod. And to be honest, I would rather have Cthulhu and/or Slenderman be god than the hateful, deceitful, sadistic fuck who rules Chick's mythos. Always amuses me that the mind of Lovecraft could only hope to dream of an evil entity as cruel and spiteful as a religious fundamentalist's delusional projection of themselves as god.

THIS 100 TIMES!!!

If these tracts prove anything, the prove that Slenderman is God.

Here's more quotes from John Paul Jackson, again from the book.

Please keep in mind, all of these quotes are again from the book "Buying and Selling the Souls of Our Children: A Closer Look At Pokemon".

Enslaving Demons

In New Age paganism and the occult, it is commonly believed that spirit guides, messengers, and elementals (or spirits) can be summoned to do things for a trainer or practitioner. Spirit guides watch and tell a trainer what it sees. These spirits guard the trainer, fightoff other spirits or elementals, and carry out assignments given by the trainer.

Dangerous parallels exist between the world of Pokemon and that of the occult. A pagan trainer can capture free elementals--much like Pokemon trainers capture Pocket Monsters--and build relationships with them for future use. This same relationship is also found in Wicca or Witchcraft.

John Paul Jackson said:
Wiccan Circles

In Wicca, guardians, known as Watchtowers, are summoned into a protective circle until called upon to fight off "bad" spirits. In Pokemon, the creatures are held in a Pokeball until the trainer summons them to fight.

In mature forms of witchcraft, one advances to higher levels by conquering demons in other people to make them their slaves. The master practitioner can then project thoughts into the slave as his demons communicate orders to the slave demons in the other person. This principle is being taught to our children in the way Pokemon capture other Pokemon. It falls under the deeper things of Satan we are warned about in Revelation 2.

Witches and shamans, who claim to project themselves into animals, recommend that only master practitioners do these things becuase an individual is not the master of the spirits, just as trainers are not masters of the Pocket Monsters. They warn that such spirits, once summoned, can be hard to get rid of, and may require an exorcism to be freed of an "evil one".

The Counterfeit Trinity

Ash, for example, can evolve into Dodrio, a creature that resembles a bird with three heads. Interestingly, Dodrio's height and weight are the dimensions of an average-sized man. Dodrio is the Pocket Monster with three heads--and interesting allusion to a counterfeit Trinity.

In the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit is sent to indwell, enpower, defend, teach and lead followers of Jesus Christ. The same may be said about the counterfeit trinity, except that the empowerment is dark in its nature.

Subtly, Pokemon promotes the belief that man can become like God--a philosophy that is also promoted in Buddhism and New Age religions. It is also the enticement that Satan offered to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It was this temptation that inspired the people of Babylon to construct the Tower of Babel. It's a ploy that Satan has used on many unsuspecting souls. Will our children be the next target of his evil deception?

Dude,

Pokemon are just animals who beat each other up. Calm the fuck down bro.
(I've mentioned before but the Pope has actually defended Pokemon)

Here's some more funny quotes from John Paul Jackson from the book.

Dodrio, Pokemon No. 085

A three-headed creature that attacks victims by pecking them with rage. While two heads sleep, one is awake. By overcoming other Pokemon with violence, Dodrio has the potential to become a god. What is this teaching our children?

John Paul Jackson said:
Dismissing the Harm

Some Christian parents may claim that Pokemon is only a game. They believe their child can distinguish between fantasy and reality. However, how can a parent allow their child to role-play behavior that the Bible calls foolish and demonic?

Role-playing and virtual reality games can blur the lines between fantasy and reality. Inflicting headaches, poisoning, paralyzing, and draining the life out of another person or animal can only be called evil and sadistic. It is not the ways of God. He brings life, not death.

Death, destruction, torment and enslavement are schemes orchestrated by Satan. It's his calling card.

As Christian parents, they are many harmless fads in our children's world that we can afford to patiently endure until they pass away. Pokemon may very well be another passing fad, but it cannot be classified as harmless. It teaches a philosophy which contradicts the principles of God's Kingdom and it undermines the very virtues that Christians seek to instill in their children.

John Paul Jackson said:
Use of Sorcery

Even more disturbing is how the game of Pokemon employs sorcery. Pagan religions believe we receive strength from the five elements of earth, fire, water, air, and spirit. Each element froms the five points of the pentagram, with spirit serving as the star's top point.

In sorcery, these elements are manipulated by magic. In the game of Pokemon, these elements are manipulated by the use of "energy cards", which empower the creatures. As Christians, our children need to be taught that those who belong to Jesus draw their power from God, not creation. We trust in God's power to protect us, not the power of the elements, channeled through spirits.

As a Christian that loves watching Anime with Japanese folk lore, and Role Playing "Virtual Reality" Games, I find this deplorable.

Pokemon teaches children the value of friendship. To love creatures big and small, without prejudice and to keep moving ahead with the ones you love the most. The cockfighting aspect is just there to keep the kids watching. (also to show the strain a friendship can go through when things go unexpected.) Its a show that teaches the same values as Christianity, just with Pokemon beating the shit out of each other.

I want to be the very best,
Like no one ever was.
To catch them is my real test,
To train them is my cause.
I will travel across the land,
Searching far and wide.
Each Pokémon, to understand
The power that's inside.

Pokémon

It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Pokémon
You're my best friend
In a world we must defend

Pokémon

A heart so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you

Pokémon

Gotta catch 'em all

Pokémon!

There was also a great parody tract called "Who's your daddy?" but it looks like it got taken down due to a copyright dispute. Bummer

Yes, I read your posts, I just didn't click on the link. Please don't stress sigh.

Ray Comfort never fails to disappoint.

Now that's funny

Ray Comfort is only slightly more well-read and intelligent than CWC. RC doesn't deserve to be called a bibliophile, and I wonder if he even knows "Bible" comes from the Greek word for "book" and that there is even a version of the Bible simply called "The Book."

Ah bananaman, hes such a brainless and deceitful fraud the sole creationist more whinily pathetic than him is his student kirk cameron

The scary thing about Chick tracts is how wide it's distribution is, in fact, I can tell you many have been translated to spanish and other lenguages and had brainwashed at least a couple of generations in many countries.

Funny thing how stories in such a dark setting and with events and supernatural stuff as absurd as South Park's (but unlike SP it's not supposed to be ironic or comedic) has been unironically readed so much, is strongly implying christian stuff has abyssmal standards.
