So is this production what tanked my investments?

I'm almost certain that this is some sort of troll. Everything in the video is too on the nose for it to be made unintentionally.
It really is. The entire thing seems to be a shitpost.

Here is an interview with the founders.

Ok, I admit that I might be wrong. But exactly what is the guarantee that these people will buy an island within the next few years?
I legit don't know if you're wrong or not. Their bullshit is impossible to really understand clearly, which is what makes this so baffling on top of everything else. For all either of us know the thing you're buying for 319 is an NFT that isn't physical but if they ever get and island you get a metaverse version of that plot while not owning the plot?

It's digital.

As far as I can tell, there aren't any islands for sale.
no, pretty sure their trying to get an IRL island.
although the plan also has a "metaverse" version or something.

Also there are islands for sale and the island they want is real and on sale.

I was just watching the Callum Upton video about this and holy shit, this is straight awful. And of course they're selling NFTs.

At the beginning of the video, whoever it is talks like a bunch of money has already been invested to start creating this. But if pre-orders have taught me anything, you don't buy a product before you can see what you're gonna get.

Yeah, this is going to be kind of interesting once they actually buy it. Somewhere along the lines of them failing at infrastructure.

I can't tell if this is the work of pajeets running a scam or if it's post-modern satirical genius, although it's still the latter even if wasn't the intention of the former.

Either way, there's going to be plenty of entertainment from rubes that believe this is real (and realistic).

The Cryptoland people claim they've signed a purchase agreement for the island, but the selling agent states this is not the case and the island is still for sale.

As an added bonus, the island is around 600 acres. Seems a bit small to hold all of Cryptoland's grand plans.

Interestingly, the main claim to fame of Cryptoland's founders is they were previously involved with a magazine that abruptly closed down after a paparazzi scandal in 2017, as reported on a Spanish news website (English). Whilst pretty skeezy, I'm not entirely convinced that a pap would quit the business to go into scamming... though I wouldn't be surprised if they cooked up a hoax to try and rebuild their profile. The video is just too on the nose to be authentic, and the animation style looks like some cheap-ass boiler plate shit from India, no doubt ordered from some pajeet animation sausage factory via Fiverr.

All speculation.
