Cuba's situation is absolutely terrible, trash everywhere, homeless and bums rampant

No wait, that's just US cities

More news from yesterday. One of the oldest and biggest refineries in Cuba caught fire yesterday. It mainly processed Mexican oil. It's looking more and more over by the day.

Anybody White in the California camps were bussed in from the rest of the country primarily Oregon's schizo junkies.

California isn’t representative of the entire country. Yes, the junkies that aren’t completely permafried migrate to the cities that have completely surrendered to them like SF and Portland.

If anything, beaners will put up with their schizos family behavior longer than other races. Whites disown their family over political disagreements and niggers have all their family members incarcerated.

Incompetence most likely. Not only are they old and poorly maintained, but they're undoubtedly in a huge crunch right now. Anyone blue collar knows what crunch time means: ignore the safety and best practice, just get the result.
Which considering that all of that equipment is probably Soviet surplus, that's saying something.

Look at how they’ve kept all of those old cars running for 75 years. Cubans are resourceful af.

Any other poorly-run communist shithole would have collapsed long ago. The reason Cuba is still semi functional is Cubans.
I've met a Cuban woman who fled and she talks about how Fidel's dream kept them together back in the 1990s. Without Fidel there is no communsit Cuba. The people of Cuba will eventually stop reporting to work and you'll see a collapse in the government as no one wants to work if your food supplier is too busy stealing it from the food bank. I guarantee Cuban-Americans are gonna flood into the country and Marko Rubio will make himself President Rubio.

Not likely after what commie JFK had done to them before, during, and after the Bsy of Pigs betrayal. And the ever omnipresent threat the govt democrats doing a rug pull on them, should they do go to Cuba and try to fix their country. As communist Cuba is a feather in the American democrats' crown since helping Castro in his revolution. And they loathe to that taken away from them and especially by Trump and or one of his successors.

Well she was in her 20s and didn't have a nice statement about the country. Im assuming the younger generation does not care about the island now and seek to find ways to leave the island for better pastures. Like what happened to their sports teams defecting to Spain during the 2024 sports crap. If Cuba can't even satisfy its elite sports players what's even the point of the communism? Double down on North Korean censorship? Thats all they can do now. I dont know why Brazil isnt pulling a world power move and propping up Cuba as a fuck you to Trump.

TLDR
I just want to make a sushi shop in Cuba and drink rum there.

The deal to end the tariffs on Brazilian exports was this: they don't mess with America's prey. Don't interfere with the snatching of Maduro and the eventual collapse of Cuba and you're off the hook. Comply, or else.

At most, the current administration can send some food and oil to last them a few months, but even that is in jeopardy. We have our own financial problems to take care of, and those little gestures are simply not feasible anymore, as much as the old drunkard codger down here wishes it weren't so.

sooooooo

my family actively opposed the regime. taking part in the bay of pigs (this was my fathers fathers side) my grandfather ran guns in Havana and cached them for the insurgents and shot out lights from the back of a moving car so the city was prepped for the night before they attacked Havana. He spent a good year with my great uncle before he lost hope in the revolution. before the revolution people you'd see in the countryside would be lynched by the Regime was warnings. my family on both my grandmother and grandfathers side on my fathers was part of the elite. his brother was good friends with Che Guevera and would go on too fight with him twice , he was also a senior official in the regime being secondary head minister of industry (the first being che) he also served as a senior sector commander in the army. my grandmother claims this but my grandfather denies it ever happened but she claims to have seen Che at the airport a couple days in the airport terminal , "olive drab uniform" she remembers it very vividly. she was only 17 or 16 when she left she was still dating my grandfather or if I'm correct married , anyways my great uncle gets word of this and being basically a force of nature on the island due to his connections with Che Guvera (which he frankly earned ngl he spent almost a decade in the jungle after the student groups in the campsuses where shut down and the first thing he did was go into the mountains to fight) well..

He threatened to have them both executed over the phone over a phone call to my grandma and than he tried sending secret police to detain my grandma at the airport and she was very lucky to escape with her life. my grandfather was later made an enemy of the state and letter was later mailed to him in the states. my grandfathers brother would later die in Bolivia in 1967 and have his body displayed on a table and kicked into an unmarked grave. his body with the remaining fighters was later unearthed and brought back to cuba in the Che Guevera Mausoleum his name (tho it's poorly spelled is on the Wikipedia page) his widow would later remarry up the chain of command with the officers she married often dying like one being killed in Angola during the start of the war by a mine in an APC. his two children would later study under the KGB and become spies and later one would die in Mexico (the family story is he knew too much) the other would later rise up the ranks and supposedly work with ISI on training militants in Afghanistan against the USA and worked under multiple embassies and was kicked out of america for spying and later played a key role in thawing america cuban relations and shook hands with Obama.

our family has only met once since than in the 70s during a visit by the state run swim team of the cuban government of my Great Grandmother to my grandmothers house. alot of things you couldn't get in Cuba so she made herself at home and was quite rude. we've never spoken to that side since... I genuinely hope I can visit cuba before the mausoleum of my great uncle is destroyed by an american bomb or see the family I never met whose twitter page I always check who are high ranking elites in the regime. it's odd having this feeling as an american idk...
