It does not matter if its zoomers or gen alpha.

Im zoomer myself and I am starting to hate other zoomers because they act like fags that only are on their socials all day.
Its almost like everything has to be performative, like there is no genuine joy in something besides doing the current thing.

Have we degraded so much that people only can like "Current thing" or else it does not matter?
That niches are being shunned or outright denounced because it does not fit the flow of thought that is going to fleet in about a month or two?

With each passing generation I feel like we are losing more and more soul for lack of better word.

Let me give you something that might be a whitepill or a blackpill depending on how you look at it; it has always been like this. Look back through time and you will find that the one great thread that ties all of history together is that most people are stupid as fuck, shallow as a pond, and they hate anyone who doesn't fall in line. Anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant, retarded, or trying to manipulate you.
Recognizing that the world is and has been full of stupid faggots (and that you yourself are among them) is a part of any marginally-above-average-intelligence person's life. You're just realizing that the shadows on the cave wall aren't reality. How you respond to this going forward determines whether you'll join the ranks of stupid faggotry or continue to develop as a proper individual.
My advice is to cherish what you have instead of dooming over what you don't, otherwise you'll probably end up killing yourself.

While the intended message is noted and humorous, I don't think it's an entirely fair dismissal of the point. Active criticism of a generation while it's up-and-coming will always contain this message, but that doesn't necessarily make it an incorrect assessment.

I think more highly of Generation X individuals in general than I do Baby Boomers despite them coming after, for example, though I'm sure this criticism was levied at both when they were the newest. I also think more highly of Generation Alpha than I do Zoomers in my admittedly limited interactions, as well.

Assessment needs to be done once their story is fully written and understood in general. I do think the online generational slapfights are silly and unfruitful, in any event.
 
When every generation enters adulthood, they get lambasted by the older generation for awhile. 15-20 years ago, boomers constantly shat on Millennials, calling us terrible workers, entitled, lazy, and easily distracted. Maybe that was true, but life goes on. Eventually, this generation will find some reason to shit on the next generation, the circle of life.

I don't think it really even matters.

Any era is going to have a "youth generation" that's inherently unstable. Once people pass out of that generation around 30 or so, they go into being stable members of society, or else are the dregs of society that die sometime between 40-50.

And you can kinda see this in 2 places: 1) ancient societies like the roman republic and athenian democracy put voting age at around 30, because they knew people under that were unstable and could be swayed by demogogues who promised them bullshit, and 2) even millenials are being called "boomers" by zoomers these days, because the real generational distinction isn't between actual generations, but between the unstable youth, and the economically stable upper generations.

The youth are in perpetual anxiety about "making it", but as soon as they have, which happens around 30 for most people, the youth shuts up because it did what it needed to do.

The only reason we think about it as a culture is because we have a ridiculously low voting age, and so people who are naturally but temporarily unstable become participants in the societal discourse.

Generational terms are admittedly a bit nebulous, but from my understanding Generation Alpha began in 2010. Pretty sure 15-year-olds aren't "literal babies", but do go on. Maybe stick to lurking.

You can't really fix the "instability period" of the youth, because it's inherent. From 16 to about 32, you're merely in a place of economic instability, simply because you're not fully educated/experienced in a trade, and haven't built both financial and social equity. After this period of instability, you will have bought into stability, or else have gained trade skill to make stability when you need it...or you're a total retard and will die of natural selection.

My point is "the kids" will always be in a trash situation when they're young. That youth is the fighting period where they figure out how to sink or swim and become the next stable generation in their 30s. They will blame the insufficiency of their parents because this period is hard, but ultimately, it's just a hard time period. The ones who actually have bad parents will simply die either in their own 20s before they could make it, or in their 40s when the consequences of their fuckups catch up to their aging bodies.

Society's error is that it lacks a moral core. This is a problem for people who are older than 27 to think about though, and not something people who are naturally unstable can even think about. For that sort of person would think all things are always wrong with society until they've finally got their piece of it.

Social media is for faggots no matter what generation they belong to... It's just the newest incarnation of primarily youth-oriented mass media, like reality TV was 20 years ago or MTV was 40ish years ago.

Be your own person, don't follow a trend because some retard somewhere says that it's cool or thinks you're weird if you don't.

When Cicero said this, Rome went through two civil wars, famines, widespread violence and gang warfare, the republic fell, and he was executed for trying to course correct. Society around him changed permanently into the imperial system and never returned. He was absolutely correct that things were going downhill, at least in his time.

Edit to say I know it’s probably an apocryphal quote anyways, but when people argue that elders always complain about the new generation and use a historical figure as an example they fail to realize that civilizations collapse all of the time. Some of these people complaining about the times were right to do so.

They are, and it's not the youth's fault. The Baby Boomers destroyed the foundations of currency and capitalism, wiped out the majority of all life on Earth with environmental poisons, invented cognitive behavior models to rat fuck humanity's soul, and completely inverted every standard of morality that has stood for thousands of years. Millennials, Zoomers, and Gen A have grown up in actual skinner boxes and addiction traps, doped up on neurotoxic meds, with completely fake educations and completely fucked social standards utterly contrary to biology and our own human nature. Boomers hoarded all the wealth in the world and passed laws to enrich themselves, creating the worst wealth inequality in history. They pulled up the ladder of prosperity and feed on their own children. Everything they've brought to the world has been inverted and wrong.

Everyone being smug that this is business as usual or that it's a personal failure you're not thriving in this dying society is an absolute fucking retard. Never before in history have relationships been so fucked up, people been so lonely and mentally ill, and all the food and water in the entire world been flooded with poison. The last 50 years alone have seen the collapse of the majority of all life on Earth and now human birth rates are falling through the floor too. The shit in the food and water sterilizes all animals including humans, turns them into depressed, dysphoric trannies. The algorithms in these apps driving everyone to hate each other and never fall in love are more addictive than heroin. Every developed country's government is complicit in all of these problems and is doing absolutely nothing to counter them.

There is no good answer to deal with this, you've been handed an actual rat shit hand from assholes that ruined the world before we were ever born. The thing that's kept my sanity is to cut off as much poison as possible: nuke black-eyed soulless bug people out your life, nuke goyslop and plastic out of your life, nuke social media and smartphone apps out of your life. Go outside and smell some flowers before all the pesticides in the water finish killing all the bees in the world. Find God. Focus on the people you love and ignore literally everybody else. We're going to see horrors beyond all measure as this gets worse and it's going to be a long time before there's even the opportunity to make things better.
