"Current Year" terms and trends you actually *like*

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
I like all the dumbass zoomer slang. Awareness of mental illness has been a double edged sword, but the positives are there. I love the word "cheugy", its hilarious.
Seconding this, I love throwing current year slang around just to take the piss out of how fucking stupid it sounds.

Thread tax: I’d also echo OP’s opinion about work outfits, but I’ll take it a step further and just throw in almost all outfits these days I like are comfortable to wear and suitable for almost any occasion.

The ever increasing rejection of liberal ideals provides us a bit of hope in our coming hard times.

I also love these anime twitter artists too. Sometimes they can master the art of the aesthetic better than even past ones.

Also. The I support the current thing trend is dying with even celebrities we thought would never wake up actually waking up.

Also the increased use to alternate medicine will help with slowing down the increasing rates of Autism, Alzheimers and Schizophrenia as big pharma is being exposed for the monster system it is. Same with the increased need of starting a plantation in retaliation against multinational corporations monopoly on agriculture.

Current year even makes it possible for obsolete devices to do way more than they could originally.
Another Current Year trend I like is how not everyone likes internet advertising, so now ad blockers and popup blockers are a thing.

And there's improved security against malware, which is also good.

I know this is going to come off like the redditor who said they're uncomfortable outside of cities, but I actually kinda like florescent lighting. It gives me a sort of nostalgic feeling being inside a wal-mart or 7-11 on a cool summers night in the 2000s.

This Radiohead music video sort of encapsulates how I feel.

Normies slowly waking the fuck up.

Yeah, I'll take the :optimistic::optimistic::optimistic: but you know I'm right.
It's happening, but slowly. At this juncture, normies know TPTB cannot be trusted. They seem to casually believe in "conspiracy theories" (for lack of a better term). Not that they're outraged enough to do anything about it, mind you. But things like "Epstein didn't kill himself", the Bud Light and Target debacles, "Rich Men North of Richmond", etc are minor whitepills.

Meanwhile, legacy media has been especially assmad that nobody believes them lately. Paul Krugman was bitching a couple weeks ago about how the silly little peasants are riding Joe Biden's shriveled dong because they aren't appreciating the Greatsst Economy Ever™️.

That's why I always exhort people to never lose hope. The blackpill is just surrendering with salt, which is exactly what TPTB want.

•I love the rise of AI. It's going to be a rough ride socially but it feels like we're on the precipice of something as important as the harnessing of electricity.
•I like that insect protein is becoming more popular. Beef is great but factory farming is objectively cruel and harmful to the planet.
Don't want to eat the bugs? Get your larping ass out in the field and tend your own animals. Don't have a field? You're probably already 25% soy, city slicker, so embrace the life you chose. Poultry can stay but only because they'll be a cost effective way of dealing with the waste from insect farms.
•I like that the WEF is pushing for a reduction in private ownership of cars. Americans are too fat, entitled, lazy and behave like irresponsible tards behind the wheel. The freedom that private vehicle ownership provides is only relevant if you're a noided schizo who thinks about running from the law one day. There's no substantive argument otherwise.
•I like that troonacy is infecting people at a higher rate but only for accelerationist reasons. If it weren't for drag queen story hour, underage transitioning, the attempt to force others to play along with delusions and the average trannies abhorrent behavior I think people wouldn't be nearly upset enough about those abominations. For the love of God, turn up the heat so the frog realizes what's happening before it's too late.
•I'm of a mixed/mostly positive opinion on the increase of belief in conspiracy theories, particularly UFOs.
I think it's blatantly obvious that UFOs are advanced/experimental military tech but it'd be nice to get society back on track to becoming space faring instead of coddling niggers. Belief in something outside of this gay planet should push us in the right direction. Fuck White countries, I want to see us claim planets.

New terms that I find funny is thug hunting, pressed and maxed out. The usage of terms like that leads to some gems, like the Texeira thing where he is charged with leaking classified documents to racist teenagers on Thug Shaker Central.
