"It's so satisfying to remove a new feet wrapping plastic."

lmao and eww.

If you're serious, I recommend you check out Dr Zhao's YouTube channel - he's a world renowned ENT doctor who deals a lot with cholesteatomas.

Yes, so I found out. I saw some things last night. Things so accursed you had to be tainted yourself to understand fully the horror of what you were looking at. I'm glad I was drunk. I couldn't BELIEVE how far up and down into the tissue surrounding the ear canal that this condition could eat away by simply never clearing itself out or being q-tipped out. Apparently some cases have been untreated for so long they've eaten into the fucking brain-case.

Can you imagine finally realizing that you just can't hear for shit for the last 20 years, sticking a q-tip in your ear for the first time and encountering not only agony as you sink into that mass and push it down, but pulling that q-tip back out and bringing a 2 inch spiral of decaying flesh and wax out with it?

I have to go clean my ears now.

IKR? It's a *horrible* condition that not a lot of people seem to know about - I'd like to think that I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

*Don't* use q-tips to clean your ears BTW - they're OK to just gently remove any debris from the very outer section of the ear canal, but you certainly don't want to be sticking them in there. They will not remove much- if any - debris and if you do have a wax build-up/wax plug, it will just push it further down towards the eardrum where it can't naturally migrate from, necessitating professional removal using suction & tools etc.

As a matter of interest, did you watch some of Dr Zhao's videos?

I forget which country this is, perhaps Indonesia or something, but it's their funeral practice. Something like on their first birthday after their death, they exhume the corpse and treat them to a night out as if they were still alive for one last time. Depending on how well their mortuary system is, their corpse isn't particularly harmful. I think.

It's still nasty, though.
BRB, amending my will.

Oh yes I did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LP9p4qxbjOE was a personal favorite. Hats off to that guy, it has to be next to colo-rectal surgery for "specialty least desirable to apply for as a doctor".
