So I found this bird nest in the mailbox of my apartment, I don't know if they're kiwis or not (It would be funny if they are)
They're really cute!!!

I tried to capture the mother bird but If I got too close it would run away, also my phone's camera quality isn't the best. I might try to get some photos later with a better camera. It seems like after a few days they're starting to open their eyes. I might leave out some food and water for them later. Seeing them made my day.

Be sure to clean that mailbox up well once they're gone. Watched a few bird families grow up and the nests are always filled to the brim with shit by the time the babies need to learn to fly. I'd be ready to fly if my house was a bowl of shit, too.

Sadly I dont think those could be kiwis, kiwis come out with a long beak and look like mini adult kiwis. I had some birds that looked very similar as babies a couple of weeks ago, I think the parents are actually about to hatch another clutch. Mine turned out to be house finches, maybe your birdies are as well since they look similar. Also baby birds do poop, a lot...
