I came across a YT channel I think you're going to like:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=g8-r8zCY-ZU
It's a great channel! The pair who run it also has a website that collects information about manul.
Among other things, they have a map that shows where manul are kept and can be seen, as well as names and ancestry, as far as is known.

I found out about these things relatively recently because the Japanese name for them popped up in some kanji-learning meme game I was playing. The standard modern name for them translates to something like "coarse pelt deer", though they're really more closely related to goats and cows.

One of the most well-known things about them in Japan is that they're very stupid. They have a tendency to just stand there and stare at anything they see moving. In times past, people would hunt them by having someone do something in front one like dance or wave their arms around while a second guy sneaks up behind it and grabs it while it's busy staring. Because of that they have a variety of old regional names that translate to things like "dumb deer", "meat idiot", or "retard". Modern scientists have looked at their brains and found the have less creases than goat or cow brains, so yes they're literal smoothbrains.

Aw that's nice, I have so much in common with them.

Decided to look them up on YouTube and the majority of the videos are literally just them standing in one spot staring at the cameraman.
This guy has a snorting contest with one. I'm not sure who won.
This one is scent marking. That ear wiggle is activating my dopamine.
They really do just stare at you.
