Look at this picture, and you can see the core of what's led Chris to this very point in his life.

What do you think was going through Chris's mind as he walked up to the spot where they told him, "Face forward, eyes on the camera"? Two things in particular that resulted in the mugshot that graces the pages of our fine forum:

1) "This is unfair! I'm angry!"
2) "I'll show them how angry this makes me!"

And there you have it. All of the major problems that were a consequence of his own failings rather than his environment and upbringing were caused by this attitude of his, which hasn't changed one iota in the past greater than five years.

The organized trolling and non-stop observation of his entire online presence? The most consistent and obvious example. Someone made him angry, and he had to show them how angry he was at them, in the most public forms of communication available. He didn't have to make a hundred videos threatening to beat up and baring his fangs at Clyde Cash, Surfshack Tito, or whoever else was pissing him off that week, yet he did, thus perpetuating the trolling.

The bans from numerous retail venues, cutting off not only easy access to shopping but also his only social outlet? Same thing. Somebody or something--a greedy JEW manager, a HEXbox display--made him angry, so he made himself an increasingly explosive disturbance until he was not only thrown out, but ordered to never return under penalty of law.

And most recently, those fucking Blue Arms. It upset him that Sega changed the appearance of his favorite character, yet nobody seemed to care or understand--not that the change was wrong, but how angry the change made him feel. So his anger and the resulting outbursts escalated further and further as he toyed with how much greater his displays of anger had to become before people would finally realize that something was making him angry, and therefore it needed to change.

And therein lies inherent flaw in his way of approaching the rest of the world, insisting that he go out of his way to show how angry something makes him. Simply, no matter how angry Chris feels:

  • No one cares.
And a corollary following from this:
  • It doesn't make any difference.
If Chris had just realized this at any point in his life up until now, he could have avoided getting into this situation that threatens to take away his freedom. But the CWCki is an exhaustive chronicle of the fact that Chris has never, at any point since his discovery by ED, understood this one simple maxim: "No one cares, and it doesn't make any difference." He's only gotten as far as "No one cares," which only makes him angrier out of indignation. The closest he's come is thinking that his displays of anger haven't made a difference... yet, but that there is a point at which just showing the world how angry he is will have an impact on something. The next step after realizing the above points is understanding that harboring this senseless anger is not only ineffective but diminishes who you are and what you can become, but this is something that many normal people have trouble truly understanding: Chris, however, didn't have to be happy about the fact that his anger didn't make any difference; he just needed to stop acting out on it. He could be as angry as he wanted to be, staying at home, playing with Lego and vidya, not bothering anybody, and nobody would bother him.

So when you look at Chris's mugshot up there, just remember: What you see in his mechanical, autistic expression is the very thing that has destroyed him and brought him to this situation.

All as a consequence of lashing out over a minor change to a video game character. Jesus Tit-smacking Christ.

I love that, despite how awful he looks, the picture succeeds in making him look more badass than he ever looked back when he was TRYING to look badass. Heh. Remember the Gay Trucker outfit?

I don't think "badass" is the word to describe how he looks in the picture. He doesn't look like a hardened criminal who can kick your ass if you look at him funny, he looks like a petulant child pouting at being scolded by an adult.

Damn...that actually looks almost frightening, like a man who had already lived life on the inside and didn't like it one bit.

Well, maybe less super villain and more bumbling cartoon villain who spouts catchphrases and comes up with nonsensical plans that always fail.

For some reason i can't help but think that mugshot of him makes him look like an over weight version of the Burglar who killed Uncle Ben in The Amazing Spider-Man movie. (2012)

Since when was Chris boss-eyed? Pretty sure that's something you're born with, not something that develops over time, but I could very well be wrong. Either way, it really complements the whole 'I'm totally flamboyantly bonkers and dangerous' look he seems to be going for nowadays
