Ok, can we talk about this picture for a second. Where on Earth was this taken?

Look at these pictures of little Chris in the 80s. Skinny, typical, simply a happy disabled boy (as many children with autism and down syndrome and other mental disorders prove). Barb was even alright too. She at least looked like an everyday, passable, mother.

*SIGH* What could've been so promising.

What I find crazy is how so far removed we are from "Classic Chris"

Absolutely right. The "Classic Fashion" was indeed deeply rooted in the 80s.

Fat boy was just too resistant to change. That is until he started associating his old look with being trolled.

According to CWCki, this was his 24th birthday. Looks like he celebrated at some eatery.

BTW in this pic he somewhat looks like what I imagine Jaws from the James Bond movies (the giant henchman with steel teeth) did look like when he was still a chubby child.

That was an interesting indication that Christian really isn't as stubborn as he wishes he was. "Classic Chris" was the character model that Chris was attempting to establish in the realm of pop culture. Shaggy wears a green v-neck, Fred wears an ascot and Christian Weston Chandler wears patriotic striped polos with a Sonichu medallion, every single day forever. I thought Chris's stubbornness may prevail and he could actually user the troll hate to help promote his work, but just like a grade schooler he engaged his bullies only to throw more fuel on the fire. I think Tomgirl was half of a response to his failed LoveQuest (if you can't beat 'em join 'em?) and half response to the trolls "ruining" his comic series.

I don't think it was a restaurant or eatery, what's that poster of that's taped to the little counter? Is it some medieval fantasy art with spears and warriors? That makes me think he's in the old GAmE placE. Plastic cups and fantasy art posters at a restaurant? I mean, it DOES sound like a restaurant Chris would go to, but not one that actually exists. By the way, I'm noticing a trend of Chris sitting in cheap plastic chairs or patio chairs on his birthday. I have a feeling that has to do with :briefs:

Looks like by young adulthood the pounds where already accumulating on Christian.

As if the Tomgirl look is any more resistant to trolling/ridicule? But then again, Chris is :stupid: .

Yeah, the game place is the only place I can think that picture was taken at. Also note the box that says "Pokemon" in the back. I thought he was already skating on thin ice by then so in surprised Michael let him do it.

See I figured it was some church function they decided to acknowledge his birthday at. If it was taken at the Game Place Bob or Barb (unlikely) would have served the cake. The person in the apron is male so not Barb and he seems to tall (and young) to be Bob, and unless aprons were part of the uniform I can't imagine a Game Place employee putting on an apron to dish out cheap store bought cake.

True, but as milkshark pointed out the poster in the corner appears to be some sort of advertisement for some sort of fantasy game. I don't know of too many churches the would be alright with a poster like that being displayed there. So I'd have to agree it probably is the Game Place.

Yeah, but back in those days, I think he was still "salvageable" in terms of his looks and fashion. With a good shower - washing his face with soap and water and washing his hair - and better fashion choices, Chris could have passed for somewhat handsome. As he is now, with the long hair and pissy attitude, I don't know if he has a face even his mother can love.

Here's a good one with Bob:

He looks like he'd like to be somewhere else... (:_(

Wouldn't you if your teenage son insisted in plastering the walls with Pokemon pictures?

Bob at least kept the place clean for Chris during his high school years. He had a nice structured place to live that wasn't cluttered and he even put the Pokemon pictures up neatly. It's kind of charming since it's a "bachelor pad" for a nerdy teenager and an old man. At least here, I get the feeling Chris was wearing clean clothes and taking showers regularly. I'm not as grossed out by him as usual.

It's too bad Bob's no longer around, and it would have been potentially lifesaving for Bob if Chris took the help from "Hoarders" a few years back. The cleaners would have taken care of the bug situation. :snorlax: ultimately lost it all on the hoard, it took years off her husband's life and I wonder how badly she wanted him around, if at all.

There wasn't any help from hoarders offered.
I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few weens had contacted Hoarders to get them to do a piece on 14BLC, but shows like that do their homework. Doubtless they took a good look at Chris on the internet and came to the inevitable conclusion that he is Not Good Television, even for a show like Hoarders.
