Mario was at Service Merchandise, as well! Seeing all these cartoon characters come to life like this must've helped cement in his head that Sonichu and his creations were real, living things.

His expression amuses me though, he thinks Mario is a homo or something?
That is the most horrifying portrayal of Mario I have ever seen.

It was probably around since 85 or 86. Note the red overalls and blue shirt, and the yellow on his cap. A lot of early, official Mario portrayals were off model, and Mario has had blue overalls with a red shirt since SMB2. And this picture was taken in 91 or 92.

That and someone stole his goddamned neck!

Maybe they were. She expanded out of them and cut them off for some sweet new shorts for her son, since obviously Chris didn't already have enough quirks and odd habits as it was to make school life sufficiently awful for him. Nope, gotta send him to school in a belly shirt and mom's pants!

No, this is something like 1992, since Chris has his Sonic doll. Sonic didn't come around until 1991.

2 Possibilities:
* The guy inside that costume is a midget or at least extremely small.
* Chris is standing on some sort of elevation like a box or a chair.

Some poor small teen at his part time job. All the McDonald's positions were full.

Yeah....I don't think men's jeans, even then, had that strange seam going down the front legs?

Chris had the most embarrassing wardrobe of any kid I've ever known.

Maybe it's like party princesses and they have to stay riiiiight off the line of copyright infringement.

lol, no she was referred to as Barbie. We got to pretend to do a commercial with Barbie. Toys R Us loaned us a boxed Barbie toy for the day and we did a dialogue with her. I had the Barbie Porsche. My mom bought it for me a few weeks later.

Those are the worst cut off jeans I've ever seen. :cryblood:
I don't know how I ever missed this pic. I nearly choked on my coffee when I saw this.

Pleated pants were pretty popular in the 90s but I don't recall there being a front seam in most pants. The only place I've seen it either has been women's jeans. Elastic-waisted Mom Jeans from the 80s/90s. So yeah, it's possible Chris's cross dressing days started sooner than we though...

^ I think I saw an elastic waist on those awful shorts. Mystery solved, Chris was a tomgirl since childhood.

So then Barb is responsible for making Chris a tomgirl. It makes her shitfit at the Tomgirl Saga all the funnier, because apparently it was only okay for him to wear girl's clothes on HER terms.

Chris really is just the equivalent of Frankenstein's Monster, but with Barb. :snorlax:

Marvin did say that he saw tomgirl coming from a mile away. Maybe this was why.

Anyone could've seen it coming a mile away.

- Photos of him in his mother's underwear.
- Plays with My Little Pony and Sailor Moon.
- Becomes less and less manly over the years. :tomgirl:
- After Tomgirl, becomes more and more birdy as the months go by :sighduck:

Barb is the only human being he actually respects (WTF! LOL) and he has largely patterned himself after the matriarch of the household. He's entitled, stupid, reactionary and lazy just like mommy. On top of that his only aspiration in life is to marry into money. Sounds a lot like a certain Snorlax we know. It's clear Barb had her claws sunk into Chris real deep from an early age. He really will be lost in the world when she inevitably croaks.

Sad, huh? I know I've mentioned it on previous threads, but I come from a dysfunctional family. I think some of the draw to Chris is how much he and Barb remind my of my own family. I see so much of my own biological mother in Barb, it's scary. :cryblood:

Did I say that? No one could've seen it coming just based on the evidence. Hell, like most things that has happened since online Chris begun, a large portion of it only happened because of us, the trolls.

Maybe I could've seen it coming because we were pushing for it. Otherwise nah.

I think Barb set it all up on purpose, so he'd have to depend on her, no matter what. That way he'd never be able to leave her, and she'd always have her baby with her. Think about the whole "spooning" thing. To her, it's just like holding a child, because she isn't going to let Chris grow up. It's not sexual -- it's just rocking her baby to sleep, in a way. Does that make sense? She can't stand the idea of letting him go.

"Mother, did it need to be so high?"
