Back then, probably. Chuck E Cheese isn't nearly as big as it used to be. (I think?)

I know there was a place called the Discovery Zone that was sort of like Chuck E. Cheese. DZ was around from 1990 to 2000 so even though Chris would have been too autistic to really enjoy it, it could have been a potential dumping ground for him.

Discover Zone required more physical activity than Chuck E Cheese, and DZ died because many of their features became available at McDonalds for free

I saw a video that mentioned they went bankrupt because Viacom didn't handle the financials properly (the video is by an internet reviewer called The Obscure who reviews nostalgic late 80s-90s stuff if anyone is interested).

And yea, I feel like Chris would be the kid (or teen) who got in the ballpit and went aggro because he couldn't get out easily. Then :briefs: would happen causing a Code Brown.

There's this girl Who stalks me on Flickr who had a party at chuck e cheese in her late teens. Yeah I think she's a tismal.

You would think, as negligent and crappy as Borb were, they would think it in their best interest to house train him

But POTTY TRAINING IS EXPENSIVE. Plus it would require Borb to closely monitor and work with Chris when there's bars to go to.

His incontinence is a function of his autism, not lack of toilet training. Unfortunately, Chris is too stubborn to wear diapers or change his diet, so he keeps shitting himself.

It could also be due to the fact that Chris is too lazy to go to the bog. As such, over the years he bust up his sphincter something rotten by holding it all in.

This could also be a by product of Barb telling Chris that he was disgusting after he showed her his deuce in the potty while at a young age of 14 if we want to insult :snorlax:'s parenting while we're at it. :P

Anyone else notice in the horse picture Chris seems to wearing a vest and isn't wearing shoes? Toss in the hat and I think here must have been some cowboy thing going on. Hmm... reminds me of the time a certain lolcow used cowboy dreams in a discussion with a certain someone's father...

He almost squashed a pony once. He's totally qualified to be a cowboy.

Sorry if this has been posted before. I'm ten pages behind and in a bit of a hurry.

While I was cropping one of the [cwc]attraction images[/cwc], I noticed these drawings on the wall behind Chris.

The two pictures on the right are clearly of the Chaotic Combo and the evolved forms of Sonichu, Black Sonichu and Rosechu. Next we have Black Sonichu and what looks like Rosechu, or another incarnation of Amy, and... I'm going to guess the pink one is Sonia, the green one is Manic, and I have no idea about the purple one. But the reason I'm posting is because it looks like Manic has a chainsaw.

Surprise Chris has never been to Chuck E Cheese

I'm sure he has at least once. Chris is only a year older than me, and when I was a little kid Chuck E Cheese was huge in the early 90's. Pretty much every kid in my class had a party there. It's safe to assume he's been there at least once.
Edit: Goddammit I knew that something had derped briefly on my end but I didn't realize that half my post had been erased. Oy.

Anyways, was there a Chuck E Cheese in Charlottesville in the early 90's? GAS IS EXPENSIVE and I can't fault Barb 'n Bob if they didn't want to drive a couple of hours for cheap pizza and then have to shell out cash for the arcade. But maybe I have a different perspective on this because Rapid City didn't have a Chuck E Cheese when I lived there as a kid in the 90's so I've only been there once.

Or they just raised their child to be a child
This times a million.

Borb didn't seem to think Chris would progress beyond the mentality of a child, so they treat him like one, which causes him to continue to behave like a child, which in turn causes Borb to continue treating him like one....... you get the idea. Self fulfilling prophesy.
It's pretty much a textbook example of how not to raise a child with autism.

I reckon after the first half dozen or so birthdays, they were just going through the motions, it's not like Chris wanted to share these occasions with anybody else is it? he just wants his cake, Lego and vidya. By the time he hits his early teens, it's unusual, by his late teens, it's weird, and when he gets into his 20s it's just plain embarrassing.

Those who don't learn from Christory are doomed to repeat it.

Mario was at Service Merchandise, as well! Seeing all these cartoon characters come to life like this must've helped cement in his head that Sonichu and his creations were real, living things.

His expression amuses me though, he thinks Mario is a homo or something?

It's like he's holding up the Sonic doll in defiance (remember this was back when the big rivalry was between Sega and Nintendo).

Why we talking about Chuck E Cheeses?

In the early 90s, DZ, Discovery Zone, was the place to be. The tube system playground was a lot better than ANY Chuck E Cheese I went to.

Edit: Oh, Chuck E Cheese actually bought out their locations? Oh phooey, now I have a moot point :x

As mentioned, look at that tube playground, so tiny and boring compared to DZ and even the Mega McDonalds in Orlando Florida.

The only real childhood memory I have of Chuck E. Cheeses is that was where I beat "The Simpsons Arcade Game" for the first time. The pizza was real shit too.

Oh, and I just remembered, there does exist a Chuck E. Cheese for adults, it seems. Too bad Chris doesn't clean up and try hang out here.

I've never been there though, but I'll bet the food is much better.
